Blood And Drug Tests

I just went to the doctors and told her I had really bad cramps, i was tired lately and i had stomach pains. I have anemia so she made me take a blood test for that and a urine test for my cramps. I know these aren't drug tests but is there anyway they can find marijuana or ecstasy in those blood tests or urine tests? Plus I'm 16 so if so will they like tell my parents?

Marijuana is easily detectable.

They won't look, however.

Further more, AFAIK if one is older than 12 you can request that the doc doesn't share one's medical records with anyone, including parents. The doctor still does, however, have the right to share one's med records if he feels that there is a need to (unless it's sex related, or something ridiculous like that).

If there is ever a question, one should tell the doctor that one is very serious about their right to privacy, and if he gives one any shite about it, one should switch doctors.

But... again... they won't look needlessly. Tests cost money. Can't just go and test for random shit. Someone is incurring the cost.

they are not looking for drugs, unless there was some reason for them to look for it.
