Salvia Growing Problems (Black / Dying Leaf) - Help Request!

i have a good rooted cutting going in a terrarium with 100% humidity, and around 26celsius, 80 fahreinheit or so...i noticed the leafs getting a little black and read that this is because the soil is too wet, so i took it out for a bit and left the top of the aqaurium off and cut off the backness, now in only an hour or so the leafs are curling up like it de hydrated or something...what a m i doing wrong?

Re: salvia problems with growing someone experienced help!!!!

put it back in the terrarium. Sally D needs to be acclimated to any level of humidity it is to live in.

If swiy want he can take the plant out for 15 minutes then put it back in then the next day take it out for 30 minutes put it back in then the day after take it out for an hour until the plant is acclimated to the average humidity.

When swim got his plant he did this and it grew very well in 30-40% humidity.

Also browning can happen for a multitude of different reasons. But what swiy should worry about is root rot which may be caused by too wet conditions.

Swim felt it was better for him if he had his plant growing in a low humidity area because then he could water it w/o worry when he noticed that the growth started to slow down.

Also correct me if swims wrong but he heard that 70 degrees is an optimal temperature for growing salvia.
