how cute, this is not a federal government agency raiding Waco Texas ala Janet Reno and BJ Clinton, although I would not put it past them. It's about insurance companies not want to spend the cash on a HIGH risk patient.

It's about a lot more than that. The health industry has a whole lot vested in preventing marijuana from becoming an established medicine.

Anyway, insurance companies are not the ones making the decision to turn away the patients who have used medical mj - it is the hospitals and transplant committees themselves (with the blessing and cover provided by the federal government of course).
