how cute, this is not a federal government agency raiding Waco Texas ala Janet Reno and BJ Clinton, although I would not put it past them. It's about insurance companies not want to spend the cash on a HIGH risk patient.

I hate to be negative and the guy has all my sympathy, but there is something fishy going on here. No way does hepatitis C linger that long then emerge. This guy has recently being sharing needles or having anal sex. Shooting up speed is not going to give a transplanted liver a chance. Smoking marijuana would probably be beneficial to his recovery, reducing depression and stimulating appetite.

Hepatitis C does not always surface imeditatly , no it usually doesnt show up , or I should say it goes un noticed for many years before the brain fog sets in. trust me on this one. I have beenthere.

It's about a lot more than that. The health industry has a whole lot vested in preventing marijuana from becoming an established medicine.

Anyway, insurance companies are not the ones making the decision to turn away the patients who have used medical mj - it is the hospitals and transplant committees themselves (with the blessing and cover provided by the federal government of course).
