Re: 2 month binge
someone correct swim if he's wrong. but he has frequently heard that amphetamines and cocaine have no real physical withdrawal symptoms. they manifest themselves psychologicaly. like depression, dysphoria, anziety, extremely intense craving etc.
but what from he knows he has heard from many that they dont have a physicaal dependence aspect to it. |

Re: 2 month binge
It depends on perspective.
Some people who only use say, once a month, if they did it every day for a week would consider themselves addicted. But if you usually use it for months at a time, doing it for a few weeks is nothing. Don't worry, if you've stopped and it's not a problem, then don't worry. |

Re: 2 month binge
"Methamphetamine addiction has three patterns: low intensity, binge, and high intensity. Low-intensity addiction describes a user who does not have psychological addiction to the meth but uses methamphetamine on a casual basis by swallowing or snorting it. Binge and high-intensity abusers have a psychological addiction to meth and prefer to smoke or inject methamphetamine to achieve a faster and stronger high. Binge abusers use methamphetamine more than individuals with low-intensity meth addiction but less than individuals with a high-intensity meth addiction.
Meth Withdrawal symptoms included but are not limited to:
in swims experience prolonged use will cause prolonged withdrawal symptoms much greaterthan48 hours!!!swim smoked meth daily for 5 years and is now 1 year clean but suffered severe withdrawal symptoms and cravings for about 8 months and still suffers from exhaustion, depression, anxiety, insomnia etc etc etc!!! METH IS ADDICTIVE! |

You're only addicted when you come off and realise you need more. The time to worry would be before you come off, if you've already done that and are clean.. well whats to worry about? |

Re: 2 month binge
swim believes that swiys feeling sad without base shows cravings, and perhaps a little depression? that swiy has been left with.
don't trick yourself into thinking swiy needs base in swiys life to have fun; it takes a while for the mind to recover from any binge/bender swim has been doing base since swim was 16 (but swim has calmed the use down within recent months) it's caused a LOT of problems and makes people nasty, paranoid, tweaking depressives whizzing their life away without a care until they need more base, or downers to take the edge off, then more addiction and aftermath |

Re: 2 month binge
I don’t know if feeling sad shows cravings, life is more fun on drugs it’s as simple as that : )

Re: 2 month binge
life is - to be precise- a lot more fun if you are sober. Either you will learn it from others or your personal experiences, but you will kid, when you grow up.
_drac_ added 1 Minutes and 34 Seconds later... database researches shows that meth spread only in those regions where coke/crack is not reachable. UK is supplied pretty enough by Ireland with coke, so it should be the reason. Last edited by _drac_; 08-06-2008 at 00:02. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Re: 2 month binge
SWIM unfortunately has a liking for this stuff, and has had similar times in the past, where SWIM has been on base more often than not.
This went on for months, and SWIM liked the trippy bit after the base wore off. SWIM also ate well on base. Base being what it is, though, chucked a couple of psychotic episodes SWIMS way, as SWIM got so absorbed in stuff SWIM forgot to eat or take supplements. It wasn't like SWIM felt "They were out to get him", as SWIM "knew" they were out to get him, bollocks of course, but thats psychotic paranoia for you. SWIM got fed up of base, as his feet and ankles would balloon out. SWIM does still struggle with those "I want a bomb" as SWIM hates the "Can't be arsed" feeling, which base masked. Each day is a new day though, and each day SWIM beats base, he feels his ego get shinier, and as SWIM is an egocentric at heart, he likes the shiny ego. |
