Unknown Chemical on Blotter

"Does it make you feel like your face is melting off? These strong small white hits are making SWIM feel invisible, and unsure of things that have been spoken in daily life (whether people are actually saying thoughts that come to mind). His pupils get huge and his thoughts are terrifying visuals. He's intrigued by the morbidness, but he just really hopes they're quality hits
...after dosing, everything around him started shifting and things gets very scary hours later (SWIM's mouth has been feeling weird)."

I made a separate topic for the earlier, and wish it wasn't placed in the "LSD" experiences. SWIM bought three tabs a few months back, they were RIDICULOUS. Obviously a different chemical, and it freaked SWIM out because this was the first time he had ever done acid. It felt like being pushed into a terrible dimension.

"This is good to hear...SWIM can relate pretty closely. It seemed like the comeup is wonderful and he smiled a lot (everything started shifting and lights became interesting), then when his pupils were full size (T+2:00) he started having morbid visuals that made him uneasy.
The stuff he saw was pretty cool, but he just wonders if LSD normally produces scary melting, stretching, and spiraling visuals...He also doesn't understand why the dose makes his jaw feel like it's locked up (metallic death).
Following T+2:00, his pupils are big for a least another three hours. (6 hour estimate). The whole experience seems like a fight against time, and half way through SWIM's smile melts off.
SWIM is glad the weather is finally nice. He plans on splitting his last dose for two experiences, and possibly attempting a candy flip."

Basically one dose of this stuff actually did what health class advertises: it fucked SWIM up.
Recently SWIM got many same-size white tabs of real LSD. Ever since that insane first batch, he only had amazing positive trips (eating up to 4 at once, so far). And yeah, it feels even better than LSA...an amazing force of life. Nothing compared to this lock-jaw invisibleness. LSD doesn't change or mess with SWIM at all. So any information on this crazy chemical?
He felt completely out of body a few hours into the first trip, seeing himself from behind and above, and intense (speedy) perspective changes. Later, SWIM had flash-forwards to events that he thought he was visualizing. Almost like predicting the future, but NOT...it was only bad thoughts.
It made him feel like he was ultimately DOOMED.
This thread interests me...SWIM's jaw got fucked up about 2H into the trips.

Re: Unknown Chemical on Blotter

sounds like pretty good stuff to me!
you sa it peaks around 2 hours and maintains peak effect for 3 or more hours. What makes you think it isn't acid/
How long does it take to give you an initial 'alert"? 20-40 min?

Re: Unknown Chemical on Blotter

The fact that you note jaw tension as well as a long come up would almost certainly point towards one of the psychedelic amphetamines that are commonly put on blotters, they are usually quite intense visually. It is quite likely this was DOC, DOI, DOB, or DOM which can be found in the research chemicals forum, most likely DOC or DOB as they are the most available it seems. Some enjoy these chemicals but swirx has seen a few people get the fear real bad from these which seems alot like your ultimate doom. They are speedy as well so this is quite likely what swiy experienced.

Do some reading, see what you think.

Thank you very much for the info. I was aware that these are commonly on blotter, but unaware they can produce horrifying sensations. The only time he freaked out was on the first tab, because he did not see it coming. For instance, when SWIM's friend attempted lighting a bowl with a match (as a joke), SWIM had a TERRIBLE flash of spiraling taste--he tilted his head and almost fell over. It did feel speedy. If someone talked to SWIM it took so long to comprehend, especially as SWIM got gitterry at the end of the trip. On Erowid, SWIM can relate to "jaw tension and tension headache," therefore it was DOB. The initial effects seem a lot like *60m onset, 3h peak, color brightening, shifting colors, 3-8 plateau (the worst part, he just wanted it to end)* Music was awfully boring, SWIM felt like a complete zombie. Furthermore, this drug is NOT enjoyable. The two other trips were rather boring, less visuals and decent fuckup.

Re: Unknown Chemical on Blotter

I do not think anyone could say with certainty the exact chemical it was, we can speculate but all of these chemicals have a wide range of effects depending on various factors. It was likely a DOx compound but I do not think anyone could point to say DOB with any amount of certainty.
