Health - Does cocaine produce a dry mouth and extreme thirst?

Just a quick question on a coke quality issue. SWIM knows that good coke is hard to find. But SWIM needs help has he thinks that a line he had taken may not be coke because SWIM has not experienced this with good coke.

Normally the euphoric coke which are hard to come by these days does not give SWIM such an extreme dry mouth. But the line that SWIM had over the weekend produced such an extreme dry mouth SWIMs tongue was sticking to his mouth. Further more, SWIM had extreme adominal cramps and blurry vision.

Any SWIYs that can shed some light/experience on this would be greatly appreciated.

swim has had the dry mouth, thirst portion of your experience - usually along with intense dripping sweat from the armpits (just the armpits...). And yes, swim believes this is bc the "coke" swim had was bad quality (as in.. something other than coke, mostly).

Sounds remarkably like another molecule that is the closest chemical cousin to cocaine that exists(aside from minor cocaine-congeners found in the coca plant itself): Atropine. Atropine is a tropine alkaloid, as is cocaine, that is found in Datura Sp.(Jimson Weed) as well as Belladonna (Atropa Belladonna). Atropine causes a dry mouth like the Sahara Desert just blew in, dilated pupils, extreme thirst (unquenchable - many people have drowned on deleriant doses of Jimson Weed trying to quench their thirst), stomach cramps, and with larger amounts - confusion, hallucinations, agitation, unconsciousness, death.

How anyone could get these two confused is beyond me. Unless a budding chemist got loose in a stockroom of a university chemistry department and, knowing the structural similarity, went what the hell - let's see what it does!

Is Atropine commonly used as a cut in coke? Swim never experienced this except with speed or mdma. Could that be in it?

SWIM experiences extreme dry, icky mouth while snowboarding...really nasty...gargling listerine helps SWIM a lot though!

SWIM's never had the dry mouth thing but he does like a good drink whilst he's on it.
