Smoking Generic Oxycontin

The ones that gel up. Is it possible/worth it?
I know you can smoke brand-name, but I was wondering about the kind that gels up and roxycodone as well. That's all.

Generic medicine is often made by several different manufacturers, they each make their own formulations, composed of different binders and fillers. Mentioning of which manufacturer SWIY has their product would be useful for others to determine what would work best. But smoking pills in general is a bad idea, since they contain all kinds of materials which can decompose into toxic byproducts after pyrolisis(combustion). If one wishes to smoke pills, than don't actually smoke them, but try to vaporise their active ingredients by grinding up the pills as fine as possible and vaporise them on some aluminium foil, or in a lightbulb vaporiser.

Since the only Oxycodone products SWIM knows and has had are brand name OxyContin and OxyNorm, he can't help SWIY any further. But posting the list on fillers and binders SWIY's pills contain could be of further use, helping to decide if it would work or not.

Hes talking about tevas and impax's brand Oxys.

Yeah, the ones that say 93 33 on them. Teva's I'm pretty sure. That and Roxycodone pills. I'm wondering about both. And by smoke I was referring to using tin foil.

As far as i know the mechanism that prevents iv/im abuse of tevas or impaxs and discourages insufflation doesnt prevent or hamper smoking.
Edit: I remember a buddy telling me the tevas were the best ones to smoke because of the wax maxtrix.

Why would anyone smoke oxycontin anyways?It is an absolute waste of a good product.It simply doesn't work.The only opiates really smokeable are ofcourse opium and to some extent heroin.The only people swim sees trying to smoke oxycodone and hydrocodone and things of this nature are kids that shouldn't be fucking with opiates in the first place.

This topic (Why would someone smoke an oxy) is like beating a dead horse. Its like the why would you ever iv a pill with all the binders arguement. People do it, maybe they get nausea from taking them orally, dont like sticking needles in there arm or syringes in there butt and they just might like the ritual of smoking and dont have access to opium. Me personally i think its a waste but its not compareable to smoking Hydrocodone. Alot of people enjoy it theres a thread that this question is either answered in or should be posted in titled "Smoking oxycodone - Is it possible?" and its actually a 4 star rated thread.

seems kind of pointless. and if swiy ever one day talks about how he smoked a pill swiys friends will look at him like WTF?

besides the bioavailability of oxycodone is much better if its digested. slower onset and maybe not as intense as snorting. but snorting doent last as long.

swim reccommends that swiy just crush it up and swallow. and if swiy is not very opiate tolerant then make sure he watches the dose and start slow.
