Effects - would having taken MDMA recently diminish the effects of cocaine ?

Do you think that if someone experiences MDMA before ever trying cocaine that person will not feel the cocaine as much?

SWIM started doing cocaine before touching XTC and SWIM still likes both but says if there was no comedown associated with taking street xtc he would be doing it all the time. He however still enjoys getting very messy on the powder!

i first started on XTC. then after about 4 pills on a night out, i had my firs line of coke. it was shite. the night was shite, the pills wernt working and then i had my first line in the toilets. the only thing that i felt was the pills starting to work. coke just doesnt work for me. my sister has done it and she sais it doesnt make her feel any different at all. i did a gram in one go once and that worked. fucked me up for hours. i prefer just puttin it on my gums and it feels funny

I believe that i've heard that ecstasy also does stimulate dopamine release or keeps dopamine around longer in the synapse of the nerve cell along with its effects on serotonin. I'm not sure if im totally correct with the dopamine thing, but I remember hearing it somewhere. As far as taking E before taking coke, i think the ecstasy would just make coke a lot more boring, unless you did a lot of coke. Coke is definitely a nice thing to have around to fuck around with though.

swim has heard this also that is why swim said mainly. Swim also thinks the question was not taken together but one before the other at seperate times. wich should not matter a person might not like it as much but but effects should be the same

I dislike cocaine after ecstasy, because I find it ruins the ecstasy buzz. That's just me though; a lot of people like it. Give it a shot.

Mixing coke and ecstasy isn't dangerous, as long as your heart is healthy.


It's a misconception that mixing drugs is dangerous, unless there's a specific reason that a combination would be dangerous (serotonin syndrome, cardiac over-stimulation, metabolites). If you never mix drugs because you think it's dangerous, you're missing out on a kaleidoscope of experiences, based on a false assumption. You just need to do your research and know what combinations are safe and what combinations aren't

Its generally not good to mix stimulants with
depressants......so how can you say its completely

your right about that. mixing can be no good sometimes. I remember a
few months ago I was at a getty with some friends and well everyone was
pretty much doing drugs. One of my friends was doing coke, drinking,
and smoking. When we all came inside after smoking we were just in
there chillin and out of no where my friend gets up and slowly,
completely disoriented, walks to the bathroom. she was there for 3
minutes so we go and check on her and she was completely unconscious
with a real bad headache. looks like that coke/alcohol mix got to her
real bad. She was so confused when she got up and we freaked out a bit
because her heart was not doing good either.

yeh doing coke on e kinda brings you down off the E but it effects you in a different way. it makes me really sharp and concentrated.

If you read hyperreal's post he/she says you need to do your research, (i.e. drug interactions). Coke taken with alcohol forms "cocaethylene", a metabolite which is more toxic than coke taken aloneand last longer in the body.


I don't know of any negative druginteractions with Coke and MDMA... but from practical experience it's better to do coke before MDMA because coke zaps swim out of an MDMA buzz, but not vice versa.


Maybe there should be a coke interaction sticky?

I just think the common denominator with a lot of dangerous and fatal
drug mixes is Alcohol. When I drink, I only drink. Had too many
problems with taking other drugs whilst the wobbly boots are on.

I agrees wit that, if u do the coke then take the pill straight after, as the coke starts to wear off the mdma kicks in. Thats how SWIM always does it andd she has no complaints

used to be bothered about mixing drugs, first few times on e would arrive at club with mates allstraight. After a while you think what the fuck few drinks before won't hurt, then it tends to be afternoon drinking someone comes up with the idea, then boom excessive amounts of alcohol with pills with a very possible serving of weed and coke later! i have in the past used e to sober me up, worked very well after lot of vodka, very dangerous mind.


I would say mix coke +booze good combo, but not with pills i just tend to forget the whole night and then have the tuesday blues.


After a night out on pills we would all come back to someones house and smoke weed to oblivion, anyone who's tried this will know you can smoke a hell of alot more, but then you would reach a real sketchy, paranoid time with everyone feeling very uneasy which isn't what you want after the high of serotonin. What we do now is come back mabey quick cup of tea or vit c drink thenabout 5 hours of sleep to help sort out your brain and instead of wasting a whole day in bed in a different world, spend the next day in the pub and build up an appitite and eat. Works very well, i've fould the next day you can also drink hell of alot more then usual, but do eat.


5htcp capsules are good for getting your serotonin levels balenced again after a heavy night.


And remember smoking kills!!
