people who are all coked out are referred to yipped up commonly. I
think its an east coast term, could be wrong though. i've never heard
the other term though

Lived on the east coast all my life (mainly New England) & have never heard "yip" except in reference to Abbie Hoffman. Then again, New England likes to think of itself as a separate country. *evil grin*


Oh, & Someone I Know tends to run in more hardcore circles, where you apparently ask for brown or white, & if white, hard or powder. *shrug*

Yip is a popular term in the Deadhead/hippie/festival subculture and at raves, East Coast and West, but yeah, here in MA people dont usually say "yip" except in one of those contexts. By far the most cmmon term round here is yayo, followed by

White, soft for powder

Hubbas, hard for crack

Sometimes, people that know what they're doing refer to the quality of the coke in their slang, such as
"Raw", "fishscale", "pure"
or for low quality, usually just "shit blow", "shitty yayo" etc.

"Work" for coke/crack that is ok but nothing special, but it's cheap and sold in bulk, so it could be resold etc, hence calling it "work"

round this way its most commonly referred to as beak, but if you were to say, 'ching', 'montana' or 'badger', most people would know what you mean. also an eighth is called a 'henry'. as in henry viii.
it is worth noting these are terms from midlands england.

Where I live, (central California) people around here as well as swim himself generally refer to it as being "yakked" or "twacked".

But I have heard of it being called "geeked" as well.

SWIM loves the term yeyo, and for the same reason, Scarface!

SWIM uses the term 'beak' mostly, and 'beaked up'

Think SWIM will include yip in vocabulary now, haha 'shlicked' sounds boss!

We call it: crack, cola, powder (for loose cocaine, not crack), white, rock (for crack), loose (for cocaine powder), charlie, gear, or work where I come from. I've also heard it referred to as pony which I think might me rhyming slang (I'm a Londoner). Oh, and 'lemon barley' is of course rhyming slang for charlie (cocaine).

SWIM and her partner smoke crack and they most commonly refer to it as 'gear' or 'work'. For example when she phones her dealer she'll say 'have you got any work?'. And makes SWIM very happy when he replies 'YES' !!!

Most of the time Red Rock hears powder, blow, coke, cola, flake, snow, pearl, soft, yay all for the powder. For crack, normally around here its called flave, rock, hard
