Combinations - Carisoprodol + stimulant safety

I'm suprised i can't find much on this combo.. Muscle cramps and teeth grinding are pretty much universal side effects for amphetamines/cathinones/meth use and i don't know about everyone else but it drives swim nuts!!

So.. Does anyone have any experience of this combo? Is there any reason why taking a couple of soma with a stimulant might cause a problem?

Also how much should be enough to counteract the muscle tension?

Swim doesn't particularly want to get 'high' on the soma so what would be the minimum dose for the desired effect?

Swim is interested in this aswell. Swims crazy donkey often takes vailum ( + 1-2hr, 5mg then 5mg an hour or so) after doing Ritalin to cope with the jittery comedown. Was wondering if subsituting the vailum for a carisoprodol pill (1x350mg swim thinks the dose is) would be a good thing or an increadibly stupid thing to do.

my cat has never had problems using a muscle relaxer like carisoprodol or cyclobenzaprine to aid in easing the comedown from coke, she's also used benzodiazepines. while it is generally not recommended to mix uppers and downers, using downers to come down is arguably somewhat safer, as the uppers are wearing off, so one wouldn't actually be co-administering in the same sense as they would be if they were speedballing.

one could always call a pharmacist and ask if taking one's prescribed dose of alprazolam or carisoprodol is safe after having taken one's dose of amphetamine (adderall) X number of hours ago.


the worst that could happen is that they wouldn't give one an answer, but one doesn't have to say who they are, just that they have a question for the pharmacist....if they ask to pull up one's records, one could say they are from out of town and just needed a quick consult. just an idea.

honestly, if the carisoprodol or whatever is taken with some sense (ie not 5 or 6 pills), like a couple of pills when one is ready to come down they should probably be ok.

Do not mix soma with meth (especially adderall). You will puke your guts out. The muscle aches are really annoying. SWIM recommend calcium and magnesium (not the usual on these posts I know), but it works.
