Maybe you are smoking a different type of marijuana then you were
before. Different strands have different effects, and some just make you really tired. Also, it might be your surroundings; in a party atmosphere you would probably have more energy and have more fun, but if your just watching tv or something, it would definately make you tired. I dont think there is a type of tolerance that contributes to sleepiness so its probably nothing permemant. Good luck! |

i agree with sting in the fact that its not permanant. you might just need more sleep. or you might have naturally low blood presure so when you smoke and it lowers your blood presure (which happens with everyone) your blood presureis to low to keep youup

My guess would be the strain. Different types of marijuana can
give different types of highs. It's often said that sativa strains give a more "up" high, which is cerebral and energetic. It'll probably make you think and laugh. Indica strains are usually attributed to more mellow "couch-lock" highs, that can put you to sleep. I've also read that the time of harvest can affect the type of high. So it may be a good idea to try smoking a different type of weed if it's available to you. |

I find that my atmosphere greatly affects me. If it's just myself
smoking then I usually always get tired. If I'm chillin with some friends actually doing something then I have a great time and laugh my ass off. I smoke sometimes before I go to bed, it helps me get to sleep. |

I'm gonna also agree that it's probably the strain of the weed, but it could
also be the simple fact that you need a break from smoking. Try taking a break for two weeks or so...this could change the highs you're getting for sure. But obviously, for us potheads, taking a break is not ideal. Try out a new kind, something less heavy. |
