Question LSD in Patch/Band-aid?

I Heard from a reliable friend that saw LSD in "Stamp-From" (Blotter Paper), but told me that in order for the LSD to hit you faster that you should hold your breath for 20 seconds and then when a vein pops on your forehead to "stick" the LSD, I Guess it's in a "Band-aid" ,form on the vein and that it would hit you quicker, like a smoking patch.

He also said that when it hit him, he felt he fell to the floor (was made of glass) and felt as he shattered into pieces.

LSD can be absorbed through the body, as the accidental bike trip shows and no other substance is pure and strong enough that dabbed on a piece of paper would give of any results, so is there such a thing as LSD Patches\Band-aid's?

I s the feeling of falling to the floor and shattering common or experienced by any one on lsd ever?

Much Like a smoking patch, but LSD?

Re: LSD in Patch/Band-aid?

Sticking a blotter of most probably unknown content directly into your blood... doesn't seem like the best of ideas to me.

The effects sound like rewording of a classic myth. This reliable friend isn't by any chance a compulsive liar, is he?

Re: LSD in Patch/Band-aid?

Not true, while im sure transdermal LSD could/should be made i cant find any refrence to it ever hitting the market, and no published busts (that i can find)have yielded any transdermal LSD.

This is a myth thats been around for a while,it varys all the time, stickers, lick and stick tatoos, etc etc...

Re: LSD in Patch/Band-aid?

Swim did an experiment with this a couple summers back and got little to no positive results. LSD used transdermally will have little to no effects... or at least it didn't for swim and his pet cats.

swiys friend is not the brightest crayon in the box. Stick to injesting it the good ol' fashion way

Re: LSD in Patch/Band-aid?

Art Buchwald was a famous columnist syndicated in many newspapers. And an outspoken critic of President Nixon and the Vietnam War. Nixon hated his guts!

Nixon had his henchman paint a solution of LSD in DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide, the "universal solvent") onto the steering-wheel of Buchwald' car. The hope was he'd crash and die - or at least get busted for erratic driving while insane! But not a damn thing happened.

Made infamous (though it never existed) as a Yippie! chemical-warfare agent called LACE, LSD in DMSO was never shown to actually work (the Yippies were famous for making up rumors and watching the powers-that-be go crazy).

Moral: If even in DMSO, LSD won't enter the skin, the chances of getting an effect from a patch and pretty small. It's a pretty big molecule.

LACE (Lysergic Acid Crypto-Ethelene) can be made by mixing LSD with DMSO, a high penetrating agent, and water. Sprayed from an atomizer or squirted from a water pistol, the purple liquid will send any pig twirling into the Never-Never Land of chromosome damage. It produces an involuntary pelvic action in cops that resembles fucking. Remember when Mace runs out, turn to Lace
@panthers,whats that crypto-ethelene suffix stand for?

Re: LSD in Patch/Band-aid?

Likely more of Abbie's sense of guerilla-theatre humor devised to make the bacon start shakin'. And an excess of letters that had to go somewhere...What the hell does MACE stand for? Militarily Applied Crowd Exterminator?

Go figure.

Oh yeah - someone stole my signed first edition of that book, too. I hope they got their necktie stuck in the door of a subway train after jumping the turnstyle.
