Side effects - LSD and Gastrointestinal Side Effects: Help!

I am just coming off of my LSD trip and I need help. During the Trip I started to get severe gas. The reason why I am worried is because I cannot stop it. It is litterally 1 fart after another and I cannot even hold it in.. I have no control. I am 4 hours off the drug and I am still experiencing the non stop farting. Again I cant hold it in. Its like I lost my ass muscle lol.. HELP ME OUT!! Should I go see a doc? Or is this something I can laugh about and eat more cid?

This is really embaracing but it is weirding me out and I wanted to see if anyone experienced this before. If not I need to go to a doctor.

You're relaxing the wrong muscles. Try relaxing your brain and not your sphincter...

Seriously, though, if what SWIY has really was acid, then you'll probably be fine, but if the problem persists more than a few days then I'd say go to the doctor. If you went a few hours after the symptoms started then they'd likely just tell you it was too early to make a diagnosis and to come back if the problems persist. If you're extra worried then they might send you for a blood test.

Excess gas has been noted as a side effect of LSD by many of my friends, though not quite to this extent... there is no need to seek medical attention, unless your friend believes their life is in danger as a result of the 'farting'

LSD mimics the serotonin molecule, right? One of the greatest concentrations of serotonin in the body is actually the gut, effecting all sorts of bodily functions. Perhaps the LSD is messing around with SWIY's usual bowel functions

Yeah, Acid effects SWIM's digestive system a lot. When SWIM tripped the other day SWIM was throwing up in the WaWa bathroom. However, SWIM's stomach is usually upset or she gets the runs. It happens. It's usually mild enough where it doesn't bother her. Nevertheless, SWIY will look back on this and laugh.

Considering SWIY is not rolling around in agony with projectile feces and vomit like most do with 5-meo-amt, swim will bet it's not 5-meo-amt.

DOx chemicals would last much longer and i'm sure this post would be about "had a 16 hour trip and i can't sleep plus i'm farting like a cartoon villan."

LSD messes with swims stomach and it really gives him gas so don't worry and try to gross out your friends.

Sounds like this chum took LSD and ended up having some blasting ass-gas. it's not all too uncommon in swims experience... the guy might have had a bad gas-station bean burrito even.
point being that it'll go away.

SWIM gets load of trapped gas when doing acid, the worst part is not the gas its the trapped-ness of it. intestinal functions seem to escape swim - resulting in a noisy and wobbly belly for the first two to three hours. SWIM has tried ginger (chewed/in tea) with little or mixed results, but has never worked out the right food to eat before tripping - or when to eat said food as the cid can make any given food the wrong one for the moment and eating is not always appropriate when travelling the cosmos. SWIM knows his acid is the right stuff (plenty experience) but still can't work out the best remedy. feel your pain, cd32505n. MORE HELP, VOYAGERS !

Swim has had a few acid over the past weekends, and everytime he has taken a couple of blotters he has had a pain from the centre of his body!

Swim is not sure if this is getting trapped in the same trip or something, as last time, swim had a real bad trip towards the end which was scary and thought swims body was falling apart swim was real real high and visual!.

Although Swims last couple of trips have being less visual but the pain has being there at somepoint even if just a hour or two!

Soon as swim comes out or sleeps and the trip has worn off swim is back to normal with none of theese pains!

Swim has taken alot of ketamine in the past and worries about the health problems it can cause such as bladder problems etc - theese pains are often around that area!!

Swim does not take anywere near as much K as he used to and wonders if it is just the mind playing tricks on swim about a possible problem from the ket whilst on acid!

Has anybody expereiced anything like this or is this just a personal issue that swims mind is causing whilst triggerd off by the acid.

Hi, SWIM understands as he used to have a pain in the stomach, he and others used to call it rottgut. He wasn't sure if it was from not eating; too long ago to remember that exactly, but he used to get it alot as SWIM remembers, especially on blotter. It would be around the area of the belly button, and would feel like it was deep inside. If this sounds about right, then the blame goes on the LSD. Poor cut or poor LSD he thinks.

LSD messes with stomachs, there ain't much you can about it. The pain in the centre of your body is probably your mind playing tricks - you could even by trying to tell yourself that the Ketamine is hurting you, LSD some some whacky things to your subconscious...

Yeah Swims mind does tell him that but he didnt think acid does that lol! ah well swim just has to stay off the K for a while then maybe the acid will be good to him!! swims tortoise will tell swim this info later!

SwiM's lettuce took acid the first time then hours later was wondering why it was hurting so much. Turns out it was just sitting in really awkward positions for 12 hours and the like - a night's rest later and it was all fine.

Maybe swiY's situation is similar to this, maybe not. It could be a lot of things but the thing to realize about LSD is that there is only about 100 micrograms of the stuff in the first place. Thus the amount required to cause a psychological effect is much lower than the amount which would cause unrelated physical effects. Other chems which have higher dosage amounts and lower safety profiles are more likely to cause physical side-effects at least from what swiM's lettuce understands.

Swim knows exactly what swiy is talking about. Every time swim drops he gets the stomach pain. Sometimes it lasts the whole time, sometime only a few hours. Swim doesnt think its the quality of the cid, because swim has gotten from many many sources and its always present. (liquid, sweet tarts, blotter, gel tab)

Swiy said he noticed it was gone the next day, but for swim it wasnt. Everytime swim smokes weed now he gets that same pain around his abdomen. Crazy swim knows but it never used to happen before swim started taking cid. (also sometimes swims spine hurts after smoking a lot of good weed.) Swim doesnt think this is acid staying in his system but he thinks its something that got screwed up in his brain after taking so much dose.

Sometimes when My Monkey does LSD she gets horrible nausea and throws up. She just seem to get an urge to vomit and it happens. How can she prevent or help this? Thanks.

There's no denying that Lady Lucy is pukey for some!

The Flamingo makes sure she's eaten a light diet, before she trips (fruit, nuts, yoghurt, nothing too greasy or strong flavoured)

If she feels pukey during, ginger tea works wonders

LSD doesn't usually cause nausea, SWIM thinks that the stomach upset might be due to Stress or unease about ingesting the LSD.

Is SWIY very sure that what they ingested is LSD? Is it bitter? SWIM has found that some items sold as LSD are really DOB or DOM. SWIM has experienced some stomach irritation from both these substances. How long was it between when SWIY ate and dropped the LSD? Could it possibly have been caused by the food SWIY ate or possibly a flu or virus? Need more information to offer any suggestions but nausea is not a very common complaint caused by LSD.

SWIM agree with sandoz1943's comment about stress and nervous...you have to be calm!your body understand and reacts if something stress you up and unease feeling kept all the time...

and one more thing is that swim had a similar experience but only 1 time that he ate much food (junk food) just before the trip and with a little biger dose of acid he throws up the hell out of him because of this GROOVY feeling all over him...but only once and swims knows that it was because of the bad food and the the equilibrium lose of the groovy body feeling!...

i think its not good beeing on a full heavy stomach during the trip

You are right about the stress and unease about the LSD. Swim realizes she has actually only thrown up when she was nervous. I think it has to due with the fact that sometimes Swim feels over stimulated during her trips and then it makes her anxious. I think Swim needs to find a way to deal with the over stimulation feeling, but she is not really sure how.

SWIM will have to agree with SWIY on this. SWIM has a tendancy to feel overstimulated in day to day life. If he walks into a room full of people, the noise and clamour can sometimes be a little too much to take in. If he's thrown ideas and suggestions too quickly, he can feel overcrowded and anxious. The driven nature of LSD and the fact that SWIM finds it hard to hold things in his head sometimes makes him feel very overstimulated and in a state of indecision. Besides distracting yourself, has anybody found any methods to reduce this. I understand it's mostly the nature of the drug and SWIM's reaction to it; but is there anything to be done?
