Effects - DXM hangover

Has anyone besides SWIM experienced "Serotonin Syndrome" while on DXM? The last two times SWIM was on 380 mg or so of DXM, SWIM experienced a severe day-or-so hangover with mild fever, sweating, and was pretty much incapable of doing anything but laying in bed listening to music for 30 hours. This was probably due to taking Wellbutrin for quitting smoking. Does anyone know how long SWIM would have to stop taking Wellbutrin to escape Serotonin Syndrome next time?

DXM can give some people a day or so hangover, similiar to that you experienced. Hard to get out of bed, best bet is when/if you have a dxm hangover stay in bed and sleep it off. Now the fever and sweating does not sound to normal and this could be to the wellbutrin, you should not be taking that kind of drug within at least 48 hours of use with the dxm.

Yup had my first real severe one on monday


I did friday morning, friday night, saturday night and sunday night trips avg 700 mg a day


Monday sucked SO MUCH i felt like shit!


Sweating like mad cows and felt like a really bad alc hangover

Ive only felt a little shakey after constant usage (about 800mg a day for a week or so)
