Opinions - Smoking: Windows up/down and why?

SWIM has received many conflicting opinions considering smoking reefer while driving in a car. SWIM realizes this isn't a safe practice, but be that as it may SWIM would like to know how SWIyou guys feel about this. The primary concern in this is what SWIyou think is safest concerning law enforcement.

When driving around smoking, do SWIyou leave your windows up or open, and if SWIyou leave them open do SWIyou crack them just a little, leave a sizable space or leave them completely open? If SWIyou leave them up do SWIyou turn on the air so it can vent out of the car or do SWIyou think it's best to just hotbox it?

If SWIyour choice is effected by what SWIyou are smoking it with please make note of that.

For SWIM, SWIM tends to leave the window 1/4 down, the same way SWIM smokes cigarettes. SWIM believes this is the least conspicuous manner since just cracking the windows seems too obvious. Unless swim is on the highway and smoking with a pipe, in which case SWIM leaves the windows up and turns on the vents.

SWIM can argue a case for each position, but SWIM will let SWIyou argue SWIyour cases SWIyourselves.

SWIM smokes with the windows all the way down and blows it at the other cars at red lights. Some people even ask to smoke. SWIM throws it in neutral and passes the blunt. Blunt is passed back. Go on green.

Personally SWIM really doesnt have the capacity to be able to smoke weed and drive, he's been driven while stoned and that was confusing enough let alone actually having to do the driving.

SWIM doesn't drive but he wouldn't allow smoking in his car if he did. It's just too damn risky. Once a bud is sparked up in a vehicle the smell is completely obvious. Get pulled over and you're screwed.

SWIM has been known to smoke a joint while driving once or a million times.... He usually opens the window an inch or so to vacuum out most of the smoke. Once SWIM is done with his herb he speeds up and rolls down all 4 windows of the car to clear it totally of smoke. After that SWIM is good to go. SWIM has even been pulled over by the cops a few times has he was smoking, just make sure you put the windows down has your pulling over, put them back up before you stop completely to not arouse suspision.

AND! for gods sake people, dont break your local driving laws while your smoking pot or transporting it. If you get a speeding ticket with drugs in the car your asking for the cops to arrest you.

swim leaves the windows cracked about a half inch, dont need much for the air speeding by the window to create low pressure outside the window and suck all the smoke out of your car

then roll them all the way down when done to relieve the smell ^_^

swim has been pulled over in the middle of smoking a bong and got away with it :P

not at all... i crack my windows a tad to let the heat out of the car, or to have some fresh air without lots of fast blowing air, and also cig smokers crack their windows. your paranoid
