Is What SWIM Has Speed?

SWIM knows it's hard to tell 100% over the net but would like to hear opinions anyway.

SWIM picked up some "speed" a while ago from a new dealer. He'd never done speed before and is unsure whether it actually was or not. It was in a baggy and seemed to have melted, so he put it in a wrap and left it to cool and it then became a powder after he cut it up. Is that normal for speed? Also it smelt almost flowery - is that the norm?

He did a fair bit over a night but he'd also drunk a fair bit and had been smoking skunk, regardless he didn't feel any noticable effects. He was doing smallish lines but he did many lines over the night so he doesn't think that the dosage was the problem (unless you are supposed to have huge lines). He then did a couple of E's and an MDMA bomb and couldn't tell if it was only the E/MDMA or the speed was also having an effect, regardless - he was flying. Thing is, he thought that when he had pills with speed in they were the ones that made him "rush" and have the best experience, but he wasn't really rushing this time..

Also, speed is supposed to prevent one sleeping right? Well SWIM slept fine, but again maybe the 2 valiums he did and bump of K sedated him enough to counter the speed..

He's still got some speed left so he wants to know if there is any point taking it or it'd be better to chuck it.

Considering SWIY did 6 known substances along with who knows what was cut into the E pills or MDMA powder, it would be pretty impossible to gauge whether the speed had an effect, and without any known affects it's impossible to deduce what substance it is. Taking on a sober head would allow for better determination of what is in the baggy.

Yeah I'm sure you're correct. SWIM has told me that he will probably do a line on it's own when he's just chilling at home. He asked me to emphasise that he hadn't drunk very much and he'd not smoked much skunk when he did the speed initially and he did wait around 2 hours before he took any harder drugs, shouldn't he have felt something in that period, I guess he is just not sure of what the "high" is supposed to feel like and is wondering if it is supposed to be subtle (or subtle in comparison to E/K/MDMA).

The only speed that SWIM ever had, other than pills of Dex, was a lump of white plasticine-like stuff that had a sort of oily feel to the outside of it. SWIM couldn't judge the effects all that well as he took it with MDMA.

It sounds like base amphetamine if it was "wet"..

Gum about 250mgs of this and you should feel something, if you don't, you got ripped.

Base amphetamine, well that sounds good to SWIM, he always hears people going on about base and had previously thought it was the same as any other speed. Does gumming it work then? SWIM's only ever heard of snorting it but is up for gumming it. SWIM says it must also have dried out by now, does that have an impact on the potency?

Finally, regarding the odour, is it normal for it to smell kind of flowery? SWIM has exams soon so he won't be trying it out for a while, but when he does he'll be sure to report back.

Some people swear by gumming, other people only snort it..

Swim personally doesn't gum it if possible, but that's just his preferance.. also, drying it out does not affect potency, Swim wondered this initially but then found out the "wetness" is from one of two things - it hasn't dried fully from the lab, or the dealer has added water to increase weight.. Swim will virtually guarentee it's the latter.

By the way, not to encourage bad behaviour or anything, but a little bit of speed will help you study for your exams.. look up adderall and ritalin to see what swim's talking about.

Swim is pretty sure swiy has base amp. She used it in her early speed days when that was all that was around. She would try to snort it, it gets gross after awhile. Addies or Dex is probably best for studies not this sort of thing. Just swim's opinion.
