Experiences - Did anyone try ALD-52?

How is ALD-52? Anyone tried it? Please describe the experience.

ALD-52. 1-Acetyl-N,N-diethyllysergamide. This material has been explored in the 50-175 microgram range and there are a number of human trials reported, with varying conclusions. One found that there was less visual distortion than with LSD and it seems to produce less anxiety and was somewhat less potent than LSD. Another report claimed it was more effective in increasing blood pressure. Yet another could not tell them apart. ALD-52 just may have been the drug that was sold as "Orange Sunshine" during the "Summer of Love" in the late '60's. Or "Orange Sunshine" may have been, really, LSD. This was the focus of a fascinating trial where two defendants were accused of distributing LSD, whereas they claimed that it was ALD-52 which was not an illegal drug. The prosecution claimed that as it hydrolyses readily to LSD, for all intents and purposes it was LSD, and anyway, you had to go through the illegal LSD to get to ALD-52 by any of the known chemical syntheses. The defendants were found guilty. And yet, I do not know who has actually measured the speed or ease of that reaction. If ALD-52 hydrolyses so easily to LSD, and the body is indeed a hydrolytic instrument, then these two drugs should be absolutely equivalent in every particular, This is the ergot equivalent of the psilocybin to psilocin argument, except this is an acetamide rather than a phosphate ester.

Hmm quite interesting. I never have even heard of such a thing but the idea interests me greatly. I assume it is not yet illegal although I guess with the laws it would be since it is similar to lsd.

Damn Alfa, your bringing back some old memories. If this is Orange Sunshine it was the most sought after acid around 68, 69, 70, I can remember still asking about that drug in the mid 70's it was so good. If I can remember right it was a four way tab, it was an easy acid, meaning the jaw clenching, the stiff neck and the mouth watering was minimul. I would put it in a Catagory A. My wife of over 35 years, reminds me that it was a verysensual trip, intensifying the whole sexual experience and I tend to agree.Ithightened your senses, every touch, every thought, every soundwas more intense. Everything and everyone seemed beautiful. The only down side to it was coming down, you wanted to stay on this plain.


By the way, I've never had a bad trip on any acid.

Back in 1971, I went to school in Boston. There was a young lady (hippy chick) whose name was "Orange Sunshine". She had way cool connections and always had orange sunshine acid, big orange barrels about 1/4 inch long, $2.00 a hit.That was some crazy shit. Hmmmm... bring back Orange Sunshine.

Very visual, lots of trails and vivid fractals. Rainbow colors and very auditory (bells, sirens, "hejmege"). Smells like burned plastic.Everything has a very plastic taste. Tremendous body rush and laughter. Color "auras". Peak lasted about 3 hours. Entire trip about 10 hours. A half hit was a pretty good trip. A whole hit was goofyland. 2 hits was a definate freak out, you'ld puke from an LSD overdose. You'ld be "spongy" for a couple days after. To the uninitiated, very easy to "freak out" on.Oh, we called this "Christmas Acid" because she would bring in orange and green barrel hits. It was the same stuff, just on a different colored base medium.

but anyway, if it WAS ALD=52 it would have to be kept in a freezer until doses were given.

u must make lsd fist then turn it into ald and u must use it real quick not sure how quick because it will turmn back into lsd hence the reason its not massed produced and im pretty sure its illegal.

That does sounds like STP, which was the street name for DOM.
Unfortunately, it was pressed into tabs that had much too high a dose
in them, almost twice what I would consider a good, intense trip, and
became illegal very quickly before it had a chance to catch on...
Still, somone found me some at one point, and I'd say that it's one of
the best trips I've ever had.
