Apparently you see music and taste colors on mushies

a friend of SWIMs dropped an acid tab and said it was shit. he saw a few colors and tasted yellow. he didnt see music and didnt totally trip out

SWIM guesses it was just a crap tab. but on a good tab do you see music and taste colors and hear your walls talk to you? do your speakers turn into little mouths that sing the music?

That's called synesthesia. It's not guaranteed to happen on any psychedelic substance but isn't out of the realm of possible things either. No visuals can be guaranteed on a psychedelic. They are personal and are too circumstantial to standardize really.

oh ok. well has SWIY or SWIM ever had that happen to them?

and i guess its possible to trick yourself into having them by thinking you really want it?

As for not getting many visuals, last night i tripped, and didn't see loads of visuals... but it was still a VERY STRONG trip. You don't always see loads of crazy stuff, it can just change your perception of things, and make you very reactive to certain stimuli.

People always assume that you hallucinate like crazy, but it really depends on the potency of the drug and the individual. SWIM has never hallucinated, but nonetheless has enjoyed himself immensely. SWIM has only done like maybe 150mcgs of LSD at the most and 2 dried gams of golden teacher mushrooms with cranberry juice, so fairly lower doses of the drug, but amazing nonetheless.
