Benzodiazepines for Anxiety During a Mushroom Trip

i have a script for lorazepam, and i was wondering if taking a small therapeutic dose of lorazepam would ease the anxiety in a mushroom trip.

i have a lot of anxiety and im sure a mushroom trip can become quite frightening
