Experiences - Beer shits?

Is SWIM the only one who has to take a nasty beer shit after a night of drinking?

Also does anyone get a sorta upset, uneasy, feeling in their stomach or lower? like large intestines or something? (not nessesarly nausea)

SWIM gets this whenever he drinks beer, usually the first few of the night and it makes it really hard to enjoy it.

Mixing it with a cigarette seems to make it worse.

Swap brands, Bud does that to this old cowboy, now he mostly drinks Coors Light.

Many beers will do that to me. And mixing various alcohols fucks my stomach up gauranteed. Its part of the hangover i guess.

Last weekend i drank lots of wine, beer, tequila and vodka in the same night and my stomach was paying me back for two days after.

Lighter beers and lagers tend to produce those messy, wet dumps (apologies for being graphic). You could try switching to Guinness or some other stout. They consistently produce slightly more bearable black tar dumps.

swim sometimes gets the beer shits too, but not always. he's not sure what the deciding factor for him is, but the light beer thing might have something to do with it. After a night of drinking olde english, swim had major beer shits and he shat himself a little while trying to take a piss.

seriously though, beer causes some nasty shits, but think about how much volume of liquid one can consume (12 cans of beer for example), that's a lot of grains. I would imagine eating a whole box of Total would render one in the same sacrificial stance to the porcelain gods

this happens used to happen to swim every time he drank, no matter how much, he'd have to shit about an hour after the 1st drink. i guess he's grown out of that but alcohol does give swim the shits the next day, and like nature boy said, its those nasty wet ones

I wonder if people can get it from drinking beer they are not used to? Many ales have live yiest in them, that could be one of the causes.

I believe that the brand or type of alcohol consumed has little or no effect on your shit. The toxins in ALL alcohol inhibit your intestines ability to absorb liqiuds. Knock on effect is said liquid must be ejected from your body...Try imodium.
