Storing - Proper Storage of DMT?

Did a search and didn't come up with anything.

Are there any preferred methods of properly storing DMT crystals? Tin Foil? Glass jar? Plastic baggie? Fridge? Freezer?

SWIM's best bet is a cool, dry place. Either a freezer or a fridge. It's best to store it in a small airtight glass container. The most important thing is that it is airtight.

Avoid heat at all costs, it will melt easily and become hard to work with. SWIM uses a glass vial with a plastic cap and in fridge.

SWIM has noticed that the crystal/powder result is quite fluffy, but also a little sticky. Could the powder be compressed into a more manageable pill? Not to be taken orally - but simply to make for easier more accurate dosing/storage?

^ it could quite easily be made more compact, which will essentially split the moisture causing it to be sticky evenly between the rest making it easier to smoke or you could spread the "fluff" (needlepoints) over a large surface area not subject to heavy light and get the last bits of moisture out. the problem with storing this and similar slow moving liquid solids in a freezer is fractional settling, basicly the same process involved in freeze drying, the raw material having a lower freezing point than the adulterants tend to sink into itself and leave the adulterants around the outer surface area, why is this a problem you may be asking, it makes the material god awful to work with, stickier than when you started, and thereby more prone to accidental contamination, and be mindful, the surface area is first to volatize.

A clown SWIM met at the circus wanted to know if DMT will keep for 10-12 months if stored in a brown glass bottle, either in the fridge or a dark drawer? Are there any degradation products to be concerned about?
