Ecstasy and friends

Hi
Swim has been doing ecstasy for the past month or 2 and loves it, although 1 problem. Swim has noticed that when he is with his friends that don't do drugs (even though they were the best of friends at 1 time), swim doesn't feel the connection anymore and doesn't really have anything interesting to talk about.
Although, friends of Swim's that do, do ecstasy, feel close and always have stuff to talk about even none-ecstasy related.
Do any other swiy's experience this?
Also, where do your friends meet their ecstasy-using friends? Swim knows very minimal people which use ecstasy which makes it limited to when he rolls and who he can roll with, which is kinda shit!

SWIM can always talk to his non drug using friends about things. we have other similar hobbies that we can talk about. but most of the SWIM's friends at least smoke pot and his best friend always experiences x with him.

that's how it starts mate... if you want my advice,stick to your friends who don't use drugs,cause their friendship doesn't depend on being high. I don't mean to sound drastic,just speaking from experience.

SWIM would suggest spiking their drink by dissolving X in it. He is surely kidding though as some people have very bad reactions to it. It would be tragic to think SWIY killed a friend.

DONT DO THIS!!
People who feel the effects of ecstasy and dont know what it is or what is happening can get very panicy and have major anxeity problems. The whole experience can be horrible and it's just out of order to do this to anyone you genuinely care about. If your friend doesnt want to take it thats his or her decision.

In relation to the first post, it's basically because taking drugs gives you an intense experience together without very much effort. If you went travelling together or saw something amazing together it strengthens a friendship, drugs (especially MDMA) provide a shortcut to these kinds of feeling hence can really bond people together. You just need to spend more time with your friends who dont do drugs and do things you both enjoy.
