Kava Kava Binging?

Swim has been binging on Kava Kava extract pills for the past 7 days (over 1000mgs of kavalactones a day). Swim was wondering if any negative side effects could occur to him because of this binging? Swim has noticed slight stomach pains, but swim is unsure if that is caused by the Kava Kava, or from the fact that swim is ingesting the pills early in the morning?

Also, swim was wondering if a tolerance is developed from using them frequently?

While binging on Kava root is fairly safe, it is thought that some capsules may be produced using not only the root, but also the leaf and stem. The leaf and stem may contain a substance that is harmful to the liver.
As the root itself is safe, as well as generally cheaper and more effective, I would recommend you consider using that instead. Make sure you get 'A grade' as lower grades may also be adulterated with stem and leaf.

Swim has gotten the minor skin rash that clears up in like a week, and also had his sleep cycle a little messed up for a few days, after consuming a lot of kava everyday for a week straight. The tolerance thing actually seems to work the opposite way, it should take less the more frequently you use it.
