Can a comedown from adderall result in violent actions?

So SWIM has been very stressed lately with college classes and whatnot. Its that time of the year where final exams are only a couple weeks away, and SWIM has not been doing as well as he would like in a few classes. So to crack down, SWIM has been taking a little bit of adderall to help him study and get things done. Not too much, only like 60mg over the last 50 hours or so. SWIM crushed some of the adderall and snorted it, maybe 25-30mg, while taking the rest oraly. Because of the adderall, SWIM has only had maybe 4 or 5 hours of sleep in the last 3 days. As stated, SWIM has been very stressed for the past week or two.

Today SWIM worked for a few hours on an english paper he needs to pass in order to pass the class. After working on the paper for about 5 hours SWIM worked a long day at the resturant where he is a cook.

When Swim got back to his dorm tonight, he was in a weird mood. He was a combination of really stressed out, really tired, and other emotions that he can't even explain.

... anyways SWIM's friends were all drinking when he got back, so he had a couple beers. only 2 or 3, not even enough to get a good buzz.

Anything that anyone said while SWIM was hanging out seemed to get on his nerves. Finally, SWIM's roommate, who although is the very cocky type, SWIM normally gets along with, set SWIM off with minor comments that would normally not bother SWIM. SWIM shoved him into the door of their room and began to throw punches at his roommate. Thankfully their was another friend in the room who got between SWIM and his roommate and calmed SWIM down.

Also, until about 4 or 5 days ago, SWIM was smoking marijuana on a daily basis. He just recently decided he was going to quit smoking pot so regularly. He has not smoked any marijuana since 4 or 5 days ago.

SWIM wants to know if his violent outburst (which SWIM is normally a rather calm person), is related to drug use at all. can coming down from adderall produce violent effects? or quitting smoking marijuana a few days a go cold turkey? or was this violent outburst simpily because of a lack of sleep, or large amounts of stress building up to the point where SWIM couldn't hold it in anymore?

(for the record SWIM and his roommate are fine now. about 5 min after the fight SWIM apologized for freaking out.)

Lay off the addies. It does and will cause psychotic episodes. Sounds like a nap is in order.
