while thinking of his favourite (2nd favourite?) pet, swim was thinking, that he was more active when he as 9-10 years old, averaging 8 orgasms without ejacultaion with the record of 13 in about 10 minutes.

hum...mileage may vary. not talking about physical performance here, but actual desire. from experience swim feels much more affected by mindstate than before, much more aware of "windows", periods, weeks, months when libido is flying high, and others when the interest dwindles. which is new.
there are oversexed periods, when swim is heavily sexualised, and others where swim is much less.
before 30 it was more stable, constant. now work, mental states, seasons, events affect swim's desire much more. being in the mood, mentally aroused, is not as straightforward as before.

Let me let you into a secret. If ever a guy is declaring to all and sundry how they can have sex 3-9 times a day or that their record is 13 times in 10 minutes, everybody who hears this knows that what they actually mean is that they are not actually having sex, but rather masturbating furiously as many times as possible.

this is quite the thing as benga said it and with problems of the mechanics so to say, but he is very into it for a very long time, _if_ he manages to overcome the psychological doubts, that will show and are not competed by sexual arousal, or an understanding, non-egoistic partner.

Maybe he has to find a good and trustful relationship where he can take his time and things will work out, or be passive again, more often. Those intended to be relations always turned out to be one night stands..swim doesn´t want to be a fuck-buddy, if it makes him feel bad, like being in a pseudo relationship.
