nurofen plus pills ARE splitable in australia

SWIM bought 24 pack last night split the pills easily with stanley knife took the 300mg and was in bliss. There's a lot of stuff online saying the pills are no longer splittable, what's the go there?

How does this chap know that they are splittable, are the two halves a different consistency or colour? Are you sure that he didn't just end up taking 150mg codeine and 2,400mg ibuprofen?

N+ contains ibuprofen, and one side tastes different to the other.

i have read that codiene will not bind with ibupro so they have to put em in halves. these ones i have obtained split in half easy if pressure is applied down the middle of the top of the pill. apparently they used to be in splittable but i know for sure these are cause they freakin split.

does anyone know if they've somehow managed to bind the codiene with the ibuprofen so it isnt half-half (instead all the ibu and cod mixed together to prevent abuse)? i'm pretty sure they havent.

the other guy doesnt even know what i'm talking about. thinks its paracetamol.

oh and by I i meant SWIM.

Are you saying that the side without the N+ is the codeine side? Very, very interesting find. Swim will investigate shortly. Unfortunately, he has to take a week off at the moment as his tolerance is too high.

Did Swiyou find that the high obtained from splitting pills is better than an equivalent CWE? Swim has always been curious as to how much codeine he is losing with a CWE.

Can't wait to test out this new theory.

swim is really unsure about this!! but it would be fantastic if this is the case!! swim is definatly going to give it a test! WOW, wouldnt that save alot of swimmers ALOT of trouble! HMMMMM! swim will also investgate and try!

Swim knows that it was stopped back in 05 or something, but if they are still producing them and havent found a combinding substance yet, that would be tops! lol

it seems like it would b hard to split the pill in the way swim thinks u are discribing it, but wont know until she trys lol

Apparently, the idiot who I believe started this rumour on some other drug forum is feeling pretty ill at the moment and all the signs point to it being an ibuprofen overdose.

Personally, Swim won't try it until somebody has done a controlled experiment. He would suggest that somebody buy a pack of N+, split them in two and perform two separate CWEs. The end results can be ingested on separate days to work out whether just one side or both contains codeine and even then there'd still be no way to tell if one side or both contained the ibuprofen.

Perhaps it's better to stick with a CWE.

Mods: May I suggest changing the title of this thread to something like "Nurofen plus MAY BE splitable in Australia" as it is a little misleading at present.

swim thought this may be the case, hence why she was going to get a pack, and do the CWE, there was no way swim was just going to swallow some thinking that someone on a forum was right lol!!

it makes swim wonder, the person who posted this thread, if they really did take 300mg worth and was ok?!? hmmmm would b fantastic if they still are splitable, but if they stopped it so many years ago, why would it still b able to be done now!
