Marijuana diminishing effects of methadone
Hey, SWIM has smoked pot one time before taking methadone and one time after (during the peak of the methadone high). In both experiences, he noticed that the effects of the opiate high (huge body high, opiate euphoria, etc.) had quickly faded away as soon as the effects from the pot kicked in (laughter, hunger, short-term memory loss, etc.). It seems to SWIM that marijuana cancels out the effects of the methadone (at least for him), and this is kinda disappointing. But since SWIM knows this now, at least he'll enjoy his methadone and not waste marijuana trying to add to the high.
Has SWIY ever experienced a canceling effect like this with this combination (or any other combination of drugs for that matter)? It's quite possible that this may only occur for SWIM and not others, but he's just wondering what combinations SWIY wouldn't want to use due to a similar canceling effect with other drugs.
(Also, I'm not sure if this thread should be in this section - if you think it should be moved, just suggest and I'll do that)
