Injecting - SWIM needs help with Adderall

SWIM can no longer take Adderall orally or the bum due to Acid Reflux. SWIM doesn't want to use IV method, but would prefer to just shoot in the hip area like a normal shot of insulin.

Can SWIY explain to me what needs to be done? SWIM did research and still doesn't understand. Most threads are about IV use and SWIM wonders if she could just dissolve 20mg Adderall in water and inject into muscle?

If Swijj is looking with a large probability of adverse effects the simple water extraction and inject is an outstanding plan. The tablets are going to be gakked to the point of really ever being able to yield clean enough amphetamine for intravenous consumption.

What are the inactive present in the pill stock? Start by finding that out and it may turn out to be relatively simple.

SWIM has no idea about pill stock or any type of chemistry related stuff. Maybe SWIM can just try it and hope for the best.

This may seem obvious, but swiy should take some tagamet or similar anti-reflux drug.

Tagamet/cimetadine should help and is commonly used by opiate and xanax users as it makes the drugs more effective. Swim has also heard of other drug users using it to intensify the effects of the drug of their choice. As a safeguard swiy should just take two different types of anti-reflux drugs and see if that helps.

Does swim know what started the reflux? Has swiy changed his diet in anyway? These are all simple questions, but important to answer before deciding to inject anything, especially with tons of fillers.

If swiy does an IM injection he/she is likely to get a painful bump for a while afterwords. Swim would suggest IV due to safety issues, but all the crap in a script pill will eat up your veins like a liquid pac man.

Finally, if using the drug rectally still causes reflux then most likely the reflux is happening as a result of the drug being metabolized and will still result. Swims guess is that even if IV or IMed swiy will still get acid-reflux.

How could doing a pill rectally or iv/im cause acid reflux. If it is caused by the use of the pill rectally i agree with yo that iv and im wont be any different as its absorbed into the blood from the rectum and never reaches the stomach.

SWIM takes 40mg of Nexium 2 X daily for acid reflux. On the days that SWIM does NOT take Adderall she has no stomach problems.

She decided to dissolve Adderall and inject through the bum to see if the acid reflux would go away. It seemed to get better for a while, but now when SWIM injects it through the bum the acid reflux acts up, but not near as bad when taken orally.

SWIM feels that the bowels/intestines are connected to the stomach and some how it gets absorbed into the bowels and travels up into the stomach area? *Theory*

This is a very bad problem for SWIM because she has ADD and cannot work without it. The Nexium cost $60 a month eh

This problem started when SWIM had Adderall increased from 20mg to 30mg. Now it doesn't matter if it's 10mg orally it will cause acid reflux.

SWIM will try snorting it and see how that works.

swim also feels like her continued adderall use is causing an ulcer. she can feel the acid churning everytime she pops one.

for swim, snorting produced a different effect. swim thinks that the acidic stomach is due to ph levels being off.

one thing swiy could try is eating a banana, or something with potassium. Is swiy taking this recreationally? it's probably not worth it if swiy has to give themselves a shot to get high...just drink coffee

The increased acidity of bodily fluids is a detriment on two fronts. Not only Swiy's stomach being forced into discomfort, but more troubling is that the lower ph increases the bodies ability to remove the amphetamine from the bloodstream. Pop some anti-acids or better yet down some baking sods water and they'll have a happy stomach while tweaking with increased stamina.

Is swiy getting adderall from a doctor or from some other source?
If swiy is getting it from a doctor, swiy should ask his doctor about it if swiy hasn't yet.
Has swiy tried any other add drugs to see if you still get acid reflux like ritalin?
Also, swim can guarantee swiy that switching to strattera should get rid of the acid reflux since it acts nothing like the amphetamine based ADD drugs. Strattera is actually an ssri, but somehow really helps with ADD and it's not addictive like the other ADD drugs. Swim would seriously suggest giving it a try to see if its as effective and if it gets ride of swiys acid reflux.

when a person skin pops or inject in the hip , the product being injected will cause a certain reaction or bruising. Adderall contains alot of filler and sugar, among other undesirable chemicals.

filtering alone will not solve or clean the addy to a point where injection is going to be a safe method. The shit will cause a problem either sooner or sooner.

the burn and bruising alone will be enough to change her mind about this idea.

Strattera (Atomoxetine) is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (it has low affinity for seratonin) and is generally pretty awful when it comes to treating ADD/ADHD. It was originally meant to treat depression but failed to show significant efficacy; Eli Lilly didn't want to lose money on such an investment so they marketed it as a treatment for something it did happen to show some efficacy for: ADD.

Any substance can be used recreationally, whether or not the substance actually has any recreational value is something else entirely. Strattera is similar to most SSRIs in that effects or therapeutic levels of the medication are cumulatively achieved; though Strattera is on a 3-4 day time frame compared to SSRI's 3-4 week. A lack of instantly available gratification and dopamine action of most other ADHD medications disqualify the compound for what most attribute to recreation-esk compounds.
