Side effects - H and Piercings

SWIM has a septum piercing (the one through the nose), and has told me that whenever he takes H, one of the side effects is that bullet-keeper always falls out. The last time he used, the bullet keeper for the piercing actually managed to travel all the way through the hole, and fall out. This would normally be a physical impossibility.

Is there any evidence that H causes dilation of body-piercings? I'd be interested in finding out what mechanism is at play here.
