Safety Question **Oxycodone with Advil**

Hi all. I had a question. I keep hearing different responses from almost every person i hear from about it so i figured i would try here to get to the bottom of this. I am perscribed oxycodone for back pain but occasionally get a headache that only goes away from ibuprofen. So what im wondering is it safe to take hydrocodone or oxycodone with advils. I understand that there is tylenol in them and taking too much tylenol is bad. but im talking small amounts, like... One generic 10/500 percocet or maybe a couple 7.5/ 500 hydros followed by 2 to 4 advil or two for my headache. I have done it before because of a headache i get after taking the painkillers but was being told by someone not to do it anymore. Then after hearing a Dentist say that it is fine and they interact well if you dont take too much.... im confused and would love to know because the headache they get after the painkillers is killed quickly by the advil on top. anyway any good info on this without the old "ask your doctor" responce would be apreciated alot. thanks =-)

The person who told you not to do it doesnt know what they are talking about. Theres no interactions between the 2 as long as you take the recommended doses of both youll be fine.
