First Post Methylphenidate question

SWIM has been taking 30mg Adderall XR orally (unprescribed) daily for 2 months. SWIM has been given seven 20mg controlled release generic methylphenidate pills. SWIM assumes she now has a tolerance for adderall since euphoric period lasts less than an hour after dose and then adderall works as it is supposed to, making her more organized, motivated, and effecient. SWIM has no experience with methylphenidate. What dose and method of delivery will most likely induce a euphoria/speedy effect based on previous history? Also take into consideration it is controlled release; if necessary, what is best way to circumvent this mechanism for methylphenidate?

If they're concerta type pills then SWIY's best bet would be to crush them up and parachute em.

Concerta doesn't come in 20mg doses, the closest are 18 and 27mg. So, depending on what the OP actually has (Focalin XR maybe?), there may or may not be a known more effective way of administration.

Generally I think (dex)methylphenidate is less effective than adderall(mixed amphetamine salt), but I have heard some people are passionate that ritallin is stronger than adderall...

Why not have SWIY take the new medication normally to get an idea for how much dosage causes what effects?

Grind them up, parachute or snort depending on preference. Insufflation has the quicker result, but Swibfs always preffered the oral route for inactive laiden pills and such. Theres also always rectal administration for the best of both worlds.
