TEK - Alcohol Extraction Tek w/ Pics

NOTICE: This tek will most likely NOT result in pure mescaline crystals. It is simply a way to cut down the amount of materials in the final product. With that said, if SWIY ends up with goo at the end of the tek it is not guaranteed to be a full "dose" of mescaline because the mescaline content in a cacti is based on different factors including how long the cacti has been streesed before being consumed. If SWIY is buying freash cacti SWIY might have a unstreesed cacti with a LOW alkaloidal content. It is best to let the cacti sit in the dark for a few weeks previous to use inorder to boost up the percentace of alkaloids. And as usual please have SWIY only follow this tek if it is legal for SWIY to do so in his the country he is residing in.

ADDED:Concentration based on amount of alcohol used and percentage of water in the alcohol. SWIYs end product will be alkaloids plus plant material. SWIY should measure doses based off of the initial amount of cactus used. If SWIY wants pure mescaline SWIY should use an A/B extraction.

So swim wanted to post up his extraction tek. SWIM has done this a couple times and believes he has got the technique down quite well.

Equipment:

1. Dried Cactus - San Pedro, Peruvian Torch, etc...
2. Alcohol

   SWIM used 91% isopropyl alcohol. if you can get food grade ethanol GET IT! it is much safer to use. You can also use 99% isopropyl alcohol to get better results. SWIM unfortunately cannot get either of those. When using isopropyl alcohol make sure the ONLY other ingredients is water. You can do this by evaporating some of it on its own and checking if residue is left over.

3. Canning Jar/s
4. glass pan
5. funnel
6. coffee filters
7. razor blade
8. Fan - Something to move air over over the pan

1. Take the dried cactus and place it inside the canning jar.

2. Pour in alcohol and close lid(pour alcohol up to just covering the plant material to minimize absorption of non-alkaloids and speed up drying time)


3. Shake jar then set aside somewhere safe.

4. Continue to shake jar twice a day for 3 days.

5. On the third day your ready to filter out the alcohol, take your coffee filter and place it inside the funnel


6. Place funnel over a jar or over your pan and proceed to poor the alcohol out of your canning jar. SAVE THE CACTUS LEFT OVERS IN JAR You will end up with a yellowish green liquid


7. Set up a well ventilated area where your going to dry your extraction. This can be a table/chair next to a window/door with a fan blowing the air out or a vent hood in your kitchen. Just make sure the fumes will be going outside.

8. Pour your alcohol extract into the pan if you haven't done so then place the pan in your ventilation area and allow to evaporate.

9. Once the pan is 100% dry you can proceed to scrape up your extract with the razor blade.


EDIT[forgot to add D'oh] - 10. Repeat process 2-9 two more times to get the most out of your powdered cactus.

And there you go. Probably much better than having to consume 50 - 100 grams of powder.

The end result should be mescaline carbonate (using 91% isopropyl alcohol youll also end up with extra plant materials, it wont all be alkaloids)
