used and old fentanyl patches

SWIM scored a heap of good fentanyl patches the other day but now has run out and its fucking painful for SWIM. SWIM just got very excited when he found an old one SWIM's mum had already used and disposed of unsafely. SWIM has heard there's still fentanyl in these, is that true?

These are Mylan durogesic (and they do work sublingually SWIM knows)

I belive there is some left over in old fentanyl patches but im not sure how much and if it degrades over time. Be carefull,read up on this demon before trying oral doses.
