Comedown - baaad headaches on cocaine comedown

when ever im comming down off coke, i get the worst headaches.....sometimes i even wonder if doing the cokes even worth it.

anyone else get this?

well i havent gotten it on a comedown. actualy i dont even getcomedowns)... yea i know its pretty sweet.. but after say i do a 8ball over the night and then next day ill have a headache.. usualy a bump takes it away

the only time i've ever got a headache was when i did a lot.. but that was just me. you could be having a reaction to the cut in it. also, try getting good sleep before you binge and make sure that you are nourished. that might help a little.

I would get a cat scan or ask your doctor personally for sure. I have never heard of this happening, and I quite frankly would be somewhat worried, if in fact you are getting quality stuff.

your cocaine may have crank (cut meth) in it, that may be the source of your headaches

In days of old, I used to occasionally get a bad cut of blow that gave me particularly egregious headaches. They usually showed up after working through a G or more. I'd take one rail more than I should have, and it'd kick my a#%. Very hard to get it under control after it kicks in too.

Fortunately, switching suppliers solved the problem...

My guess is the increase in blood pressure has something to do with it. Does the headache pulse with your heartbeat?

Snorting Cocaine will sometimes cause a headache for me. If you think about it your building pressure in your head and causing congestion from the actual coke "powder" entering thru your nose....Your also prob. irritating your sinus cavity by sniffing. Best advice to prevent this would be just try to be in a good breathing enviroment and maybe see how you feel before snorting...if your semi-congested prior to starting, dont.

Snorting anything on the other hand will build sinus pressure...and sinus pressure can cause headaches...Anyone w/allergy prob's can prob. relate....You dont notice this till ur coming down cuz the Yay has the numbing effect for the majority of the time.

Yea,you may getheadaches. When I stop, I come down with alcohol and a couple of IBUPROFEN always. If not, then I feel like someone hit me over the head with a fukin hammer.

SWIM has tried coke once, and after about 3 rails, and 20 min later, a really bad headache came on. He tried to get rid of it by doing 2 more another 20 min later. The headache got worse. With each successive blow (not on top of each other, mind you, but paced over time) the headache came back, like it was being recharged with pain. FinallySWIM stopped and cursed of coke. Now SWIM wants to try it again, but fears those headaches, they dissipated after some advil and pressing his head against a pillow the rest of the night. SWIM has ADHD and wonders if that has anything to do with the bad reaction seeing as how coke is a stimulant. From what SWIM heard from his friends, the stuff was good and pretty pure. Seems pretty similar to what you had, but is this an uncommon thing?Edited by: mf400

It's probably from constriction of the blood vessels in the head... coke plays havoc with the circulatory system.

Have you tried 2-3 tylenol or ibuprofens or aspirin... try this along with a large cup of strong coffee (it's a vasodilator and should help, altho it might kill your ability to fall asleep for a few hours).Edited by: Nicaine

Not be a buzzkill, but depending on the severity and time of onset, intense headaches after a night of blow can be a symptom of a stroke or T.I.A. (mini stroke). If the headache pain is worse than anything you've ever felt, call 911 immediately! Seriously, don't wait to see if it will pass, strokes are a common occurance among heavy users and will occur without notice. In most cases, strokes are the most common about an hour after you stop using coke and can be best identified by the fast onset of a severe headache. If the headache is accompanied with dizziness, nausea, trouble speaking or walking, go to the hospital right away!
