Combinations - Opioids and Adderall

My monkey took 100mg Meperidine / 50mg Promethazine about an hour and 40 minutes ago. This morning he took his usual 30mg of Adderall XR. Is it commonly understood that Adderall masks the effects of Opioids? Prior to dosing he also drank grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed). He said he could feel it a bit but he's certainly not anywhere near nodding. Any assistance for my furry friend?

Well each person seems to experience Adderall and opiates differently Swim commonly takes them both at the same time and he says sometimes he feels the opiate as he would normal and sometime a lil less then normal. That said your monkey will not gett the nodding effect opiates give him while on adderall, especially adderall XR. Since the adderalls going to want to keep your monkey awake and the opiates usual drowsiness side effect will be largely blocked. Swim would suggest your monkey take more euphoric and less sedating opiates when taking Adderall. Hydrocodone 10 mgs low paracetamol seem to be well liked as a mixture with adderall and swim doesnt disagree. If your monkey doesnt have alot of Opioids and wants to get the most out of them maybe he should take them on the comedown (10-13 hours after XR dose, regular adderall 4-6 hours after dose).
