Drug info - I need info on Nitrous before I try it...

I have never tried Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas, Hippy Crack, Etc.) before but I want to this weekend. I just wanted to find out some info first…
Questions:
How many full breathes of Nitrous can you get out of a single whip cream can?
I’m not sure whether I will be able to find whippets (Nitrous Cartridges) so if I have to I’ll just have to buy some cans.
Are you supposed to hold your hit as long as you can like with cannabis?

Nitrous is fun as hell. Whippets are the best way to go, just swing by your local head shop. You get about 2 or 3 hits per cartridge, and 24 cartridges. Just inhale and exhale, then take a breath of oxygen, then take another hit. You feel it almost imediatley, you are supposed to have 60 percent oxygen ratio I think. Just take a breath in between each hit and you will be fine.

Yeah, that cool feeling is called asphyxiation..in other words an acute case of death..Anyways, do what frontmethesky said to do, you need the oxygen so do it that way, if you wanna repeatedly suck in and out you can, but you can also shoot a pint of smack...your choice I guess

Be careful inhaling direct from cartridges.

In australia, we used to have "cream bulbs" that were similar to soda bulbs, but they were compressed with Nitrous Oxide. Under pressure the Nitrous was very cold and he damaged his lungs by abusing these bulbs and repeatedly inhaling cold compressed nitrous out of these cartridges!

Filing a balloon with Nitrous is a better idea, but repeated breathing from balloon is not on!!!

A balloon gives the user some control over how much they inhale ;D

Definitely ballons are the way to go. If you use whipcream cans be sure they have not been shaken in the past 20 to 30 mins. Also when they are down if you let them sit for a few hours (only know from rollin a long time) they will still have some left. Some stores won't let you buy more than 5 or so. But a way around that is be dressed decent and not have any of your friends there but get a bunch of cans then go pick up some pie tins. If they ask say you are throwing a party and this is part of the games at the party. Its worked for me.

I used empty restaurant whhip cream canisters, and loaded the cartridges without any whp cream inside. Then took nitrous hits til I was laughing. It's really fun. But I only did it three or four times there.

search ebay for nitrous oxide, there is a kit on there, where you get a cracker, and some bulbs. its on ebay.co.uk

remember, each time you exhale into the balloon, you're filling it with more and more CO2. asphyxiation is right.

compressed air (ie duster) is usually trifluoroethane or difluoroethane, i think these are hydrocarbons. they're compeltely different from nitrous oxide but theyr perceived effects are practically identical. inhalants are health-taxing, so the bad effects are like all other inhalants, depleted vitamins, nerve weakening, stuff like that, maybe respiratory problems.

Nitrous Oxide isn't that great, highly overrated drug. It'd be fun to have a 50lb tank full, but as for buying whip cream cans, (which I used to do) pretty big waste of money for a one minute high. Rather smoke salvia.
Nitrous gives me that head buzz most dissociatives give, with more laughing and grinning. Might be a cool drug if it lasted longer, like 30-60 minutes. I'll stick with the better dissociatives. Good 'ol dxm and salvia.

Moral of the story - don't go overboard with nitrous unless you have
medical grade, and for god's sakes don't go huffing computer duster!
I've had no ill effects from food grade nitrous (which is, by the way,
very easy to obtain in your local x-mart store or by online order) But
then again, I haven't done more than 6-7 hits in one sitting.



And I have better things to spend money on than pricey whippits

The main thing with Nitrous Oxide is to remember that you also need
to breathe Oxygen. Too much Nitrous Oxide is just like breathing pure

I don't suppose anyone here is from Winnipeg and knows where to find crackers/whippets? I called a few headshops without any luck, and I'm too lazy to make my own cracker. If not, I guess I'll just go on EBay.
