Heroin Inquiry

I have had experience with various opiates in the past (i have never had any problems with addiction). I decided to take a 6 month break, lo and behold, the day my break ended, i was offered heroin. I have no experience with this substance. Due to having no tolerance, i have a few questions about this.

Assuming this is black tar (i have yet to find out the type), what would be a good starting amount?

Provided this is able to be snorted, what would be a good starting amount? I know that doing "test bumps" repeatedly could be feasible but i am unsure how long to wait in between bumps to see if there are any effects noted.

I am 59 kgs (im a big ass ferret) and am 175 cm tall. I am 20 yrs of age but look around 16. So needless to say, im not a particularly imposing figure. Are there any particular mannerisms i should exhibit or should i act the way i normally do? I usually use an extensive vocabulary. For this transaction, should i "dumb it down" to dissuade any fears he may have that im a cop or something?
