Ne one kno if smoking mushrooms is effective at all, if so good /bad?

Yes, it is effective and bad. It's hard to find data on how bad, but by heating shrooms, totally different substances are created. It is common to get flashbacks after smoking shrooms, which is uncommon after eating them.

i've smoked them before. i was already high on shrooms so i didn't really notice anything.. we just had some pixie dust at the bottom of the bag and decided to give it a smoke.. is it true if you get it in your eyes it can blind you?

SWIM knows that smoking psilocybin, amanitas and a few other shrooms when SWIM've has been too bored has caused really awful burning sensation in SWIM's eyes after the fungi's effects subside. On the sclera of SWIM's eyeball, there've been marked spots of excessive "bloodshottedness."

SWIM never noticed anything like that even after letting your everyday ganj'smoke penetrate SWIM's ocular cavities. Definitely nothing blindness-related, but definitely a distinct eye pain and redness after burning mushrooms.

What SWIM's noticed while smoking shrooms is that finely ground ones (shrooms) have a tendency to allow bits and pieces of shroomage pop, fizz and crackle out of SWIM's smoking device; and maybe this aerosolization could have a tendency to bring half-combusted particles closer to SWIM's face, and inherently eyes.

Dunno. SWIM's friend has explicitly told him that smoking magical shrooms can be poisonous (dunno about toxic) because of a chemical change. SWIM would be interested in knowing the fact from fiction involved in said poisonous smoke.

the smoke you DA 2pacc, yeah I never noticed much effect from somking them + the smoke is pretty gross tasting and you'd have to smoke a hell of a lot (iethe same amount you would eat - 2 grams...) to get effects.

i love my shrooms just the way they are.. EAT EM UP! (they do taste pretty gross tho, i'll give ya that... i heard if you put em in a bigmac you cant taste em at all... i've never done it tho, cuz if im throwin em on somethin its gonna be pizza)

if you want them to hit you faster and not last quite as long, boil them up in Tea!

You are wasting your time trying to smoke them. Heat kills the magic. So soes boiling them to make tea. You have to steep them in water 110 degress, or your tossing good mushrooms into the trash. If you dont like the taste of them, dry them, grind them up, and put them in capsules.

A little sidenote on making capsules.......When you eat mushrooms, come on time is approximatly 15 minuites. Depending on the capsules used, it could take up to three hours. So, plan your trip accordingly. Dont wait until midnite to eat your capsules, lol.

Yeah I think it is definitly a waste to smoke them....I dont think it really does anything except taste like shit....

Do to doing some reading, I always thought too much heat would kill the psylocibin, but after recieving some advice from a veteran (and also having the most intense god-like trip of my life), I must argue that boiling the shrooms for about half an hour produces fantastic results.

If it worked for you, thats great! I did some testing of my own, with boiling, steeping, and eating from the same batch, same growth parameters. Boiling them seemed to lessen or reduce the visuals I got. LOL, just go with whatever works for you and you cant go wrong.

what do u do when u boiling them? how long and do u still eat them or drink the water and toss the shrooms?

First chop them up real fine, then boil them (or if your in the heat kills camp, then keep the water real hot just below boiling) for about half an hour (throw a little vitamin C in the water to increase solubility); really you just need to drink the liquid (recommend adding tea or something else to get rid of awful taste) but you can also eat the 'slimies' for a little extra kick.

Thats just not true. Depending on the amount of food in your stomach, and how much you wiegh, mushrooms take 35 - 80 minutes to come on. If you make tea, and drink the tea first, then eat the rest of your shrooms, it may come on faster, but no faster then 30 minutes. If you get completely messed before 30 minutes in, then you are somehow very sensitive to mushrooms, and should watch how much you take.

Oh, and boiling is not a good way to make the tea. If that worked for someone then you did waste some of it, but saved enough to get you high anyways. The best way is to get one of those "tea spoons" that have two sides that close on eachother. Put your powder in there, boil some water first, and then dip the spoon in and out of the water fo 20 minutes, but take the water off boiling before you do so.(these spoons have holes in each side, they can be found at any coffee specialty shop)

on the come on time, i find if i take a full 3-4 grams, it sets in after 10 or so minutes, and i trip harder after an hour, but if i take 2 grams or so, it takes 1-2 hours for them to even kick in...it's just a quantity thing more than anything i think.
