Yummy, serotonine in excess with the risk of seizure and for sure a miserable dysphoria ... has he heard of reading the inlet and making sense of it? ;-)

Unfortunately it seems alot of recreational drug users don't think and just abuse a substance without knowing anything about it or anything about the negative repercussions of that substance.

The handful of times had Serotonin Syndrome Symptoms (tachycardia, myoclonic jerks, dysphoria, panicky feelings), a single 100mg Phenytoin took away the symptoms far better than any benzo could. Taking a phenytoin prior to large dose tramadol HCL is mandatory now.

Exclamation Re: Tramadol overdose friend needs helpful advice quick...

19-50mg Trams Eah? No offense intended, but Swiy's friend has v. little common sense. He must have very low levels of Metabolite 1 or is just wanting to loose part of his tongue when he loses it by biting it of when he clenches during an inevitable full blown grand mal seizure. If Swiy's friend continues to take this dose, each time his chances grow bigger and bigger, and will eventually come to bite SWIY's Friend in the ASS!!!
NO ARGUMENT ABOUT IT!

Anyways, Hope SWIY's Friend Lowers His Dose!

P.S. SWIM has no room to talk, After All Jupe Speaks From Past Experiences

Re: Tramadol overdose friend needs helpful advice quick...

SWIY would recommend an antiseizure measure should this happen again and a hospital is unavailable for some reason. Phenytoin (as mentioned above), gabapentin, clonazepam, diazepam, etc should (in theory) prevent seizures that are common in Tramadol OD.
