Why doesn't meth have an effect on swim?

Swim is not saying that it doesn't have any effect at all, but it does not effect swim in the same way it does most other people. As far as the sleep part goes, if swim uses starts using at about swim's normal bed time, it does make swim feel more alert, and more energetic, and will in fact keep swim awake for awhile, but about 10 - 14 hours later, not to long after swim would normally wake up, swim begins to get extremely tired and needs to sleep, even if swim is continuing to use right up until that point. On several occasions swim upon feeling very tired at this point has used a very large (but yet safe) amount of meth, to see if it would take the tiredness away, but it has failed each time. At this point swim just needs to sleep period.
As to do with appetite, for the first 3 hours or so after beginning to use, swim in fact does not have much of an appetite, even if swim was hungry pryor to using, but after that approximate 3 hour time frame swim begins to get hungry and needs to eat, even while continuing to use. And with this like with sleep, swim upon feeling hungry has tried using a large amount of meth to see if it would take swim's appetite away, but in this case it also would also fail on each attempt. Swim is rather disappointed in meth, as the reason why swim ever even tried meth in the first place was so that it could aid in losing weight. Now swim uses it only occasionally for recreation maybe 6-10 times a year.

I have two basic questions.
1.) Can anyone explain to me why this is?
2.) Does anyone else who reads this have the same problem? or do you know anyone else that is effected by meth in this way?

swim has the same problem. he thought it was just the quality of the gear for a while but has tryd meny differnt meth from differnt people n even when he makes it himself its still the same. if you find out what could be causing it please let me know

Could have to do with a number of things: Personal body chemistry, method of ingestion, tolerance, dosage, purity of substance etc.

SWIM's hunch is that the purity of substance would be the biggest issue here for SWIY as what happens in your brain as a result of meth almost certainly means you can't eat or sleep.

There are a couple of reasons this may happen.

Purity would be the most obvious one SWIM reckons. SWIY should try and get some prescription/pharmaceutical amphetamines (ideally some desoxyn for a proper comparison) and take some of them and see what happens. SWIM has taken LOTS of rubbish amphetamines before but prescription stuff has never done SWIM wrong.

The only other real reason SWIM can think of is SWIY's individual brain chemistry. In SWIM's experience there seem to be a small pecentage of people out there that amphetamines just don't work very well for. For example he had a mate that would fall asleep after a few hours every time he had speed. Who knows why really.

Also SWIM has to disagree with vile_audio's comment about ADHD. SWIM has ADHD and amphetamines affect him fine although he does seem to need a higher dosage than most people.

Try taking more of it. I know exactly what you mean though. I felt that way the first few times I tried it like all drugs but after a while I realized what the effects were and when I tried doing higher doses then I started feeling the real effects. If your like me your after extreme off your tits effects so you should be doing high doses.

Well..... to those of you who suggested that maybe it's the quality or the dose, swim has tried it from various different sorces, and swim has already mentioned that swim tried extremely large amounts, and it still does not take swim's appetite away, or make it to where swim can't sleep. Also, other people that swim knows, can't sleep, and have no desire to eat while using the same stuff as swim, and some of them are regular users, and some not, and even when swim uses more than them in the same amount of time, it still does not have much of an effect on swim. It must just be something to do with swim's chemistry as some have mentioned. If swim really really forces his self, he can stay up for one night and the next day, but there is no way in hell that swim could stay up for two nights, not even close, and no matter the amount. Swim could take so much that he would get sick, but it would by no means keep swim up for 2 nights straight...... period. With swim's appetite, yes, it does have a curving effect, but it does not take it away, and will not, regardless of amount used, but swim will admit that swim has a food addiction, and and if he doesn't control himself will eat excessive amounts constantly, so maybe this plays into the problem as far as appetite goes, but still not sure what the deal is with the sleep part.

swim here has the other way around, can do a decnt amount and stay up (or high) 2x as long as the other when doing just about the same amount, and swim is no small person , swim's method is a pipe but lately has been eating it again but doesnt matter the way swim does it still up for a long time (can be good cause its not cheap for the good stuff), swim wishes sometimes he was like swiy because swim likes to have a good time, but its just lasts forever

if you are just smoking it have you considered eating it? the way i do it is to take a decent sized shard, oh maybe .2 of a gram and put it in a small paper towel (you would of course not use the whole thing and cut or rip to a very small square) and just swallow, or if no paper product just do it without paper (i get it in decent sized shards so i am able to do that). or when u smoke it do you smoke it all at once? or how so, i tried to see if u gave those details but didnt see them in the first post

swim had add/adhd and narcolepsy (list of reasons too long to explain) too and he knows he is very lucky cause he can use meth with low side effects and he's mind work unbelivebly while on it, which makes him also a good student ...
you're luck m8 , keep that in mind ... you'll always be look at with envy cause in a circle of tweakers cause you dont go crazy or paranoic from it
