Adderall and paranoia/anxiety?

So I was diagnosed with schizophrenia, which was misdiagnosed, and then they said it was depersonalization (if you know what that is, bravo). Anyway, I am also on adderall, and I will often throw down 80 mgs for fun. I've found that contrary to popular belief, my anxiety/paranoia basically vanishes and I'm able to let my guard down and be a social butterfly which feels fantastic when I'm on adderall. And during the come down, surprisngly, I still feel excellent. So I want my doctor to prescribe more, but he insists that adderall will only make my anxiety worse which couldn't be farther from the truth baed upon my own experience. Is my loss of anxiety just an abberation, or has anyone else experienced this when taking adderall?

Re: Adderall and paranoia/anxiety?

I'm not sure but the feeling is great while on it, it's the coming down that hurts. Adderall helps with the dopamine receptor and that helps elevate moods. The anxiety is probably caused by lack of dopamine so when the adderall is taken then the dopamine receptor is doing good, thus so are you.

Re: Adderall and paranoia/anxiety?

After you were to build up a tolerance AFOAF would imagine your condition only becoming more of a problem. Based on swims post AFOAF thinks swim would only abuse the drug and end up a place he would never have dreamed of going. Depersonalization... in AFOAF's point of view is very similar to the mindset of a person going through amphetamine addiction. Amphetamines will seriously fuck your world up, when abused the positive aspects of them vanish far too fast. I agree with swims doctor, if they could benefit your condition, your doctor would know.
