Actually, SWIM thinks about this alot: What does everyone else do while killing time waiting for their supplier to come through?

Well swim just spent hours playing around here and cleaning the house and taking as long as I could to get the mail. And now it's not going to happen.....swim was gonna buy some coke. Oh well. at least the house is clean. Oh and not to be crude, but masturbating helps make the wait better.

Is anybody like me? Swim gets to a point where swim almost wants them to just call and say it's not going to happen. God swim hates dealers that just keep you hanging even when they know they have no intention of coming through.

Haha swim does the same thing as "Truth": Text the dealer during work, have him pick swim up from work and pick-up and pay in the car on the way home (makes for a less sketchy scenario too).

swim found out about the logistic thing too, which means that swim never waits anymore either. swim remembers the old days though, when swim didnt really wanna trip before swim wanted it right now, and while waiting for the dealer there, swim used to clean the house

SWIM used to have the best and indeed worst dealer in the world, he would contact SWIM when his stocks were running low so SWIM wouldnt miss out, the drugs were delivered straight to SWIMS door or to where ever SWIM was (house party or local pub etc) which meant hardly any waiting but also a relative ease to get the group rolling

SWIM is all too familiar with the whole waiting game scenario and yes, it does suck! However, the current procedure is to be detained by dealer for what seems to be an eternity before being allowed to go on one's merry way. The rationale is to reduce the levels of suspicion which is quite understandable, however sometimes SWIM just doesn't feel like being held hostage.

Swim calls his dealer, heads over, sits on the couch, shoots the shit, gets his stuff and the heads up on whatever's coming in in the next few weeks, then leaves happy.

Swim is glad he hasn't got to put up with any shit.

When swim was young swim remember that all too vividly. Driving around cash in hand or parked smoking a cig with ur friends fiending. Just plan like everybody else says. Make sure swim still have stock of swims drug when swim call swims dealer for more. And make sure to call early (not too early most get up round noon from swims exp) and let em know swim'll be swoopin by later in the evening to pick some up. That way incase swim does hafta wait just use swims last dose. But swim buys in quant so that's mainly the reason he has the extra dose.

SWIM used to have a bender's worth of her drug of choice, cocaine. But then SWIM had a very untrustworthy friend break into her apartment while she was gone on a trip. SWIM's bad friend ripped thru SWIM's apartment and found all but 1 secret stash. Now SWIM is no longer friends with the thief and also doesn't keep much in her stash. My cat buys in large quantities and always a week or so ahead of time. He tells his dealer what he wants and to give my cat a call when he's ready. But my cat can relate as he sits on his porch waiting for the post man to come with his ethnos. They can be days late at times.

SWIM remembers when he was first starting with dope, he was relying on low street dealers and they always made SWIM wait....SWIM would call him up and he would say meet me where ever in 10 minutes and then SWIM's dealer wouldn't show up for 30....during that time, SWIM and SWIM's friends would be fiending like crazy, smoking cigs and anxiously trying to kill time until the dude showed up

Personally, my cat has had the best luck with an older ex-hippie. A friend of a friend of a friends uncle. That way he doesn't have to deal with any street garbage they meet for coffee or something and he gets much better quality. The thug type dealers tend to have about as much knowledge about their product as they have about time management.

SWIM totally agrees....SWIM's dealer doesn't do heroin so he has no idea how good the actual product is....it does no good for SWIM to ask him if this shit is on fire or what so whenever SWIM's dealer tells him it is good stuff, SWIM doesn't get much at first until he has tried it himself

Oh yes swim remembers that drama in the early days. Later in life she went to the source or was the source, so it wasn't an issue. Presently she is abstaining.
