Fentanyl absorbtion (how long does it take?)

Some dude I know has been abusing Fentalyn Mylan Dur(o)gesic patches and has wondered how long it takes for the chemicle to absorb through the mouth if taken under the tongue. So how long does he has to leave it there without wasting any fentalyn?

it should only take about 5 mins tops If used under the tongue or in between he cheeks. You can sometimes feel it immediatley.

Thanks for the info. My friend's been leaving it under his tongue for up to an hour. Gets a bit annoying cause I like cigarettes.

Within 20 minutes. SWIM use to, and will soon since he's getting a few patches tomorrow, cut the piece he wanted, peel it off, place it on his gums for 5-10min, then move it to his cheeks, then under the tongue, then chew for a minute or two, and spit it out. He could taste the chemical (which would always bring warmth to his tongue and the feeling would hit him finally knowing that it would soon be in full effect), and would chew it up good after moving it various places in his mouth for a good 20 min. SWIM thinks it got him the most out of his patches.

My friend received a script for a low dose 25mcg put four on and got nothing. He has the mylan plastic strip, nothing really to squeeze out so to speak. He was wondering if there is a way to smoke it or ingest it. He said any help would be appreciated. He has tried the under tongue and chewing with 50mcg but nothing.
