New High from Adderall + Seroquel !!!

That description confuses me. I'm unsure of why this combination would create that effect based on the pharmacology of the two drugs. I would be concerned about an irregular heartbeat in this occasion...

Next time SWIY (any of swiy) does this combination, could you keep track of your heart rate? For me, this is past the point of trying to convince of the ill-advised nature of this combination, and evolved purely into interest in the unique properties of this chemical chimera that I would never personally divulge in.

Its like a catecholamine tug-of-war. Kind of fascinating, really. =)

I don't think you have any idea what the fuck you're talking about. Mixing uppers and downers strains your heart. Listen, SWIM has had major heart problems because of uppers and downers. The combo ruined his heart beat. So if you want to live in denial land go ahead. Feel free for SWIY to die from heart related problems. Yes also mixing downers is a bad idea, same with mixing stimulants.
Also see, the thing is THEY WOULD TAKE A CHANCE. THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK. It's safe in a certain sense, but something I wouldn't recommend to anyone. At all. Your logic makes sense, you just don't understand what I'm saying about how straining it is. SWIM has been prescribed uppers in the morning, with downers at night. That is relatively safe. The whole idea of Seroquel has SWIM baffled though as to why someone would want this. Also SWIM's amphetamine's were picked up directly from a known cook in the area, who has since disappeared.

And yes the anti-psychotic properties may be at higher doses, SWIM just really dis-believes in seroquel and hates it, it bias's his opinion.

SWIM would appreciate it if O casey didn't reply to this (simply because he is very manic and may suddenly fly into rage at the rate he is going), but he respects his opinion.

It's sad to abuse Seroqeul because of what kind of drug it is. SWIM has abused it before. There is no real high. You get sedated and brain dead. Thats about it.

As I said earlier look up what psuedo-speedball reports are like and it would be something like that, with less euphoria and most likely more uncomfortable.

SWIM has plenty of experience with seroquel and adderall, mostly XR.
SWIM knows that seroquel is prescribed for anxiety and insomnia in low doses (has taken it after and before anti-psychotic doses for these reasons).

If SWIY does this combo, SWIM suggests just using an opiod or benzo instead. Or saving that seroquel for night to help ease the comdown.

Doc prescribed SWIM Seroquel and it caused nightmares. Then the next day couldn't wake up. Finally took Adderall and it lifted the fogginess but still felt like a zombie. If SWIY wants to sleep it's good for that, but otherwise it sucks.

While we're looking for sources... I'm having a hard time finding one on your claims of Seroquel aiding in helping the body adapt to anti-depressents. (And also, I fail to see the relevance of it in terms of this thread).

Mainly, the weird thing is that Seroquel is an antagonist at Dopamine and Serotonin receptors. And anti-depressents are designed to increase levels of these chemicals in the brain. Just seems counterintuitive, hopefully someone can shed some light on it.

Also, would still love to see some heart rate numbers while on this combination. =)

Swim takes 20mgs Adderall 3 times a day, sometimes he takes them all in the morning. Last night he took them at 6ish with his nightly 200mg seroquel. It seemed to do nothing, swim went ahead and took 3mgs xanax to be able to sleep, he was only awake with the A's and S's for about 30 minutes and thought it a waste of medicine, he did check his heart rate though and it was hella fast, sorry no specifics, but I wouldn't guess any faster/slower than it'd be with 60mgs adderall alone. Sleep did come easy thanks to xanax, and swim could have stayed up if he wanted too, but it wasn't sweet or anything.

Adderall IR is a godsend. it is the only reason why SWIM graduated his freshmen year of Highschool, and he has earned 12 credits so far this year (and his sophmore year isn't even over). It's also helped SWIM become a one of the top fighters in the Northwest Indiana Jiujitsu Tournament.

Seroquel is the most useless drug that SWIM has ever been prescribed. It will knock the people with the worst cases of insomnia out, but you will always feel like shit, and a giant lack of motivation in the morning.

but anyway, your Seroquel/Amphetamine Combo is an excellent method of wasting your Adderall and causing brain damage. You might as well substitute the Adderall with Epinethrine.

SWIM was prescribed 200mg of Seroquel at bedtime about two months ago. Since then he has done adderall on a couple of occassions. One side effect from Seroquel that SWIM gets is an increased heart rate, brain feels completely slowed and gets a sort of zombie effect from it. SWIM doesn't like it much and is going to tell his psychiatrist about the side effects gained from it.

When SWIM does adderall he does not take his nightly dose of Seroquel because he feels it would pose more of a risk than what is gained. SWIM would rather not sleep than take the Seroquel.
