TEK - Resin Extraction a.k.a Late Night Despiration

All of our gnomes have been in the same situation at one point or another. After having that busy day they go and lie down at night and find they just cannot seem to get comfortable. This morning I awoke and as I went outside to get my morning paper one gnome shared with me what he had done the previous night.

He has had this new bowl for about six months now and he has not touched the resin after what is more than likely every day use. He in detail described a method for making use of 6 months of resin that he was presently in the middle of.

He said all he was using was:

1. bowl fully caked with blackish soft resin, never intentionally heated for consumption.
2. 190 proof alcohol for human consumption (to remove resin chemically)
3. a weeks time
4. metal wire (guitar string, piano wire, check a hardware store)(remove resin forcefully)
5. Container with lid that will enclose bowl, alcohol.

1. The idea is to soak the bowl in the alcohol solution for about 2 days, occasionally shaking.
2. Using the maliable guitar string/wire to gently break loose the resin on the inside. the string bends well, this allows you to touch nearly every surface on the inside of the bowl with skill.
3. repeat 1 & 2 as many times as desired.
4. evaporate and scrape the container.

all I have to say is his eyes are red, and gnomes don't have allergies.
