Snorting - Most efficient method of snorting?

can you snort coke with a folded paper or do you need something special that you cant just fetch in 5 minutes? i mean, isnt it possible just to fold a short piece of paper and snort through that?


Also, can cocaine in rock form be damaged by being exposed to free air?can you use a 3-4 centimetres long piece of bamboo to snort through? what do people usually use? - sorry for the thundrstorm of questions Edited by: BA

You can snort through anything. Traditionally, people roll up a banknote into a tube and use that. Bamboo is fine.


Leaving cocaine in open air won't destroy it, but it will absorb moisture from the environment, which is bad. Wrapping it in cling film is recommended

People normally use all kinds of things. You can roll up a piece of paper, a dollar bill, snort through a straw, broken pen shell, glass tube, or scoop some outta the baggie w/a spoon, your finger nail, straw w/the top of the end cut, car key. If you've got nothing at all just put your nose right up on the bump and inhale. As far as exposing your rock to air, yes thats safe. Its got to be out long enough to be broken up doesn't it? But like Hyper said, it will absorb moisture, esp. the better coke, so don't leave it out for too long.

I like to have specific tools and I like to keep my tools organized. I dont like to roll up bills (although they work great, and you can make them just the right size to fit) for two reasons - I have had people forget money at my house that we were using, and I have shoved a rolled up bill in my pocket in the past, and forgotten it was there. Suddenly the bill goes from innocent money to incriminating evidence. I usually will get a BIC stick pen, cut it into thirds, and throw away everything except for 1/3 of it. I keep this, a blade, some paper squares, and empty baggies in a little waterproof pocket sized bag. Whenever I use any of these tools, they remain out of the carrier only as long as their being used - even during a long session. That way I always have what I need by grabbing just one item. A little tidyness will keep you out of alot of trouble.

So which is your tecnique, and why? I prefer the hard violent snort like im trying to suck a gummy bear through a straw.. Seems to be the higher in the sinus cavity I can move it, the better I get off. What about you?

its all just a question of taste i'd say, but the better you get it up in there, the quicker its going to hit you! could be wrong tho, anyone got any other ideas?

I agree with the above, but I am a take it slow kind of guy around my friends but If I am at a party I'm hitting that stuff hard.

If you snort too hard, less of the coke is being absorbed into your
nasal membrane, and more is dripping down your throat. I'd say a medium
snort, no need to inhale the coke into your lungs/throat that you are
snorting so hard, but you also don't want the coke to fall out of your
nose after you sniff it. Find a happy medium in between there and hit
the slopes.

I agree with (MATTP)'s post. I can't hit it too hard, cuz it all shoots
right back into my throat and it makes me gag. Yet if i hit it too
sofly it will either fall outta my nose or clog it. So in the words of
Adam Sandler i take it at a "Medium Pace"

SWIM personally dislikes using dollar pills for the reason that when
you snort something, small droplets of blood (carrying Hep. C? Other
Infectious agents?) may fall from your nose. Also, someone with a cut
could have gotten blood on it and you may be inhaling particles of it.
that may sound a bit paranoid, but when a BIC pen or small piece of
paper. better safe than sorry.

the best way i can describe the way SWIM snorts is a like when you
breathe in to sigh, except through your nose. all the coke goes up
there, not shooting down your throat/lungs. and none falls out of your
nose like if you don't inhale hard enough

Speaking of dollar bills they did a study that 4 out of 5 bill contain residue of cocaine or other substances. (Usually coke) So unless its covered i do not think it will incriminate you.


The key method is used many times while out to do a descrete bump out of the bag but still not very safe.


Everyone forgot to mention the good old bullit. A device that holds your stash and when you want a bump is as descrete as using a vicks inhaler. You gotta check THIS out. At this price get some for your friends (and charge them a lot if you want) They'll be jealous.

Not so hard it goes to far, but enough to get it up there. If you've done coke before you should know how to do it properly.

Yea dont do it as hard as you can but just enough to get the coke in your nose without making and fall out. Slow/gentle doesnt seem like a good method to me because some might fall out. You want more of a medium/hard.

Its not hard at all. Swim doesn't need to snort much harder than it takes to breath through the nose regularly.

SWIM uses bic pencils (mechanical). sort of frosted with a white/blac spiral grip on them. They pul apart clean and swim says nothing sticks to the inside.

in the experience everyone has heard from someone who may be involved in doing coke... what does everyone think the most efficient method of snorting is? that is, to get the most high/euphoria

have heard many different things from many different people, even things that contradict each other, someone once told me that you want to snort the line slower because it enables one to absorb the drug better, but someone else told me faster is more efficient, so who knows... also have heard that each nostril is different, etc...

looking for opinions on everything and anything concerning this topic, see what everyone thinks...

just rollup a fucking note, stick up to swiy nostril and with the hand not holding the note block swiy other nostil and inhale sharply...if swiy has another line cut and ready alot of people like to change nostrils and do the same with the opposite nostril and hand....it pretty basic really.

maybe blow swiy nose before hand and make sure nostrils are clear...if you get any stuck in swiy nose that wont drip back then snort a lil water and that will flush it thru.

SWIM tries to use straws when possible, who knows where the money has been, nobody wants to be contracting any diseases from stupidity like that... another specific question left out of the original post, how far up the nose should the snorting device be for maximal efficiency? just barely in the nose? shoved up as far as possible? or somewhere in between?
