Combinations - Speed & Zoloft

Swim took speed for the first time on Friday, 7 lines in a period of about 2 hours.
Swim felt nothing from this whatsoever.
No "speeding" or euphoria or anything at all.

Swim cut it so swim knew how much filler was in it.
Swim is on antidepressants, one named Zoloft. a 50mg per day dosage. However swim has only been on these medications for 3 weeks to a month.

Is this why swim experienced no effects of the speed?
Any advice for swim in the future?

E.g: next time swim wishes to do speed to not take zoloft for a week prior? Do more lines next time, etc?

Also: Swims friends who used it felt the usual effects of speed, they have used previously.

SWIM has done meth and zoloft but not at the same time. SWIM wouldn't think it was the zoloft that didnt get SWIY high. It could be the meth wasn't any good. Or just because SWIY hasn't never done meth before doesn't mean SWIYs tolerance isn't naturally high.

SWIM has done meth with his grandma before (countless times) and she has never done it before and she really doesn't get high. And SWIMs uncle can take hydrocodine or xanax and other pills and he doesn't get high off them and he doesn't do any thing.

He broke his hand the other day and the doctors gave him hydrocodine and he took 3 and he didn't feel nothing. And SWIM gave him 3 xanax bar (the yellow ladders) and he don't even get high. Now SWIM if he ate 3 xanax and he would be high as apollo 13. So to answer SWIY question he dont think it was the zoloft. But than again he could be wrong.

Note: Speed isn't the same thing as meth in other parts of the world

Zoloft is an SSRI. SSRI's block the effects of a wide range of psychedelics, amphetamines included.

SWIM was not referring to Meth... Just regular Amphetamine Speed.

SWIM would like to hear more from those who have combined speed and zoloft if possible.

SWIM knows SSRI's can have an effect, however SWIM has only been on Zoloft for 3 weeks. They arent proven effective in assisting depression within the first month therefore SWIM did not think this would have a large effect on the Speed.

SWIM also takes Zoloft in the morning. 150 mg of it. SWIM also took 60mg of Amphetamine salts in the morning as well. SWIM felt absolutely nothing-almost calm and sleepy. We do know that in A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. patients, amphetamines will actually have this effect, so it is possible that you and SWIM have A.D.H.D.?

Either that, or SWIM and SWIY's Zoloft is killing any effect. Sucks.

So, basically, Zoloft and Adderall will render the Adderall a dud? SWIM is upset about this. He learned too late.

swims friends doc just precribed low dose zoloft with 60mg of addies a day along with kpins (for sleep) and atatvin (panic attacks). ofcourse not to be taken together, but my friends doc said the zoloft and addie can be taken together.

Right and I know that it's not dangerous. (well, on second thought, it has a chance of producing serotonin syndrome-but that's for another forum).

SWIM's question on this post (asked by me) was: does taking Zoloft before taking recreational doses of Adderall kill the recreational experience of the Amphetamines? In normal doses, it wouldn't make the Adderall not work if the Adderall was working before. But in recreational doses, or at least SWIM seems to think, the Zoloft may actually be interfering with the effects that many people like to do Adderall for. and SWIM is pissed about that.

my friend has add...and over 80mg he can def feel good..over 80 and he says its great.

Alright so SWIM must just have a naturally high tolerance...this excites him a bit. Maybe he could do meth and not even feel it strongly enough to get addicted!
