Talking Quickest onset ever.

Short post here as SwiPA is still in the middle of a hydrocodone come-up.

SwiPA has tried many ways of injesting 10/325 norcos (only oral though, except for a retarded and unsuccessful SC/IM attempt). He has simply drank them down whole, crushed them with his teeth, parachuted them, and dissolving in water.

SwiPA usually doesn't feel like hassling with dissolving it in water. Chewing them is disgusting and frankly he's paranoid about the stuff getting stuck in his teeth and limiting how intense the onset is. He occasionally has them whole to prolong the come-up, or if he's trying a new dose that might be too intense.

His usual method is to parachute. This is when the pill is crushed and the powder placed onto a small piece of tissue. It is then wrapped up, the excess paper torn off, and swallowed like a pill. He figures this has about the same onset time as dissolving, but it's not as problematic to prepare. He doesn't like dissolving for several reasons, but mainly because pouring water into a shot glass or small cup can blow some of the powder out if he's not careful.

Tonight SwiPA decided to dissolve it for a faster onset, even though he figured the difference would be negligible. Parachuting usually takes as little as seven minutes to kick in, or as much as twenty to thirty if he forgets to drink a cup of water right after. The difference this time was unreal. SwiPA thought he felt something right after he drank it, but wrote it off as placebo or a tiny buccal absorption. Nevertheless, he began to feel effects that were absolutely real within three minutes. THREE MINUTES PEOPLE. SwiPA had a completely empty stomach except for some DXM and a teaspoon of bicarb, which I know is necessary for a quick onset. I've known many to claim that insufflation, IM, and even rectal administration take more time.

SwiPA would like some feedback as to how quick the onset is for others. Is this near unheard of, slightly uncommon, or is this in fact quite par for the course?
