Smoking - Possible to smoke Oxy out of a Pipe?

Swim was wondering if it was possible to smoke oxy out of pipe (usually used for smoking weed) if swim placed tin foil over the bowl and oxy inorder to create an indirect heat?

Whenever swim has smoked oxy or dope or any kind of opiate he always uses the "chasing the dragon" method. Where one gets a piece of foil places the powder on top gets some kind of straw or tube, lights under the foil (not directly touching the foil, a bit below so you vaporize it and not combust it.) and inhales the smoke through the tube.

This method is by far more efficient at smoking an opiate. Swim believes that a direct flame would cause the oxy to burn up and not produce much effect, but he may be wrong.

Don't smoke pills, man..
There is so much crap in there. Weigh a pill, and subtract the mg of oxy. That's a whole lot of "other stuff." Yuck.
It's all binders and fillers, crap not meant to be smoked.

I mean, if it's extracted, that's a whole different story.. (SWIM doesn't have experience with extracting oxy's or anything and smoking it, so SWIM can't really offer any suggestions in that direction)

Yes, hypothetically Oxycodone and Oxycontin can be smoked. Unfortunately for Americans this quite often wont be possible because most of the Oxycodone available is percs etc. Oxycontin are the only ones suitable for smoking in America.

In other countries there is OxyNorm IR etc which are also suitable for smoking but taste like crap. Oxycodone is smoked in exactly the same way as one would smoke Morphine or Heroin.
