Best way to measure...

... without a scale? I recently acquired 100mg of 2C-I and am dying to
try it, although I don't have a scale handy. What are some ways that
you guys measure out your RC's for proper dosing without a scale?

I have previously had the same amount as you have. I simply mixed
with precisely 100 milliliters of water. Then you have 1 mg for
every milliliter. You can find shot glasses at grocery stores
with milliliter increments on it if you dont have anything.

Yeah I've heard of that way and that's probably what I'll end up doing.
I was wondering though once I mix the water with the RC (I plan to do
about a 15mg trip for my first one), how well will the RC hold up in
water and for how long if I don't use the rest of it. I'll probably
give a 15mg dose to a friend as well, so that will still leave me with
70mg. Where should I store this water at? Will it degrade over time if
it just sits in the water?

Each RC has different solubility, but I use QUALITY vodka. The few RC's I have diluted have completely dissolved.

I'd recommend a high proof alcohol but if you have to use water make sure it is distilled.

Don't use alcohol or vodka to dissolve for the long term.


Use distilled water, The halogeno substituents may be weaky suseptible to forming ethers with alcohols. water it is more stable

You should DEFFINATLY find some way to weigh your shit befor you dissiolve it, and start LOW. i dont see how you can be certain that they acctualy sent you 100mg of chemical. Taking these kinds of drugs with out wieghing them somehow is extremly stupid. You dont need a milligram balance, but you do need to know how much you are starting with. also i would dilute 100mg to 200ml so open up your margin of error a little bit, so you can more accuratly measure out your liquid. a great way to measure liquid is to get one of those giganitic syringes, i think they are called wash syringes or something i have found them for 1.69 in 60cc size at a drug store, they have no needle, so no script is needed.

Deffinatly use distilled water. I dont recomend taking any RC at all. i think that you should not even touch the stuff. especaily with out knowing EXACTLY how much you're taking. this is not something to fuck around with.

When i got into the RCems i was lost without a scale and eyed out a
large dose of insuffalted 2c-t-2 i puked 40 mins after and had the trip
of a lifetime, i but i felt like i was going to O.D for the first 2
hours.



Anyway you can buy a presision scale off of ebay for $100 bucks
look for a jewlrey scale that can messure to 0.002mgs thoes are
accutite enough.... would this post be a soure post?

thanks for that information chemicallybound!I always wondered would alcohol not react with 2c-i. Just got some 2c-i as well and i'm thinking that i'll just go with some graph paper and my eye. Just split it into 100mg into 2 piles of 50mg then splita fiftydown again into 5 piles of 10mg (i haven't done any yet and i want to start with a low end dose and work it up *i'm not a pussy at all honest!*) hehe

The method I've used in the past is to accurately be able to measure doses (and also makes them much easier to handle/measure etc) is to dissolve the 100mg (that weight HAS to be known to be accurate) in about 25ml of the solvent of choice (water, vodka, isopropyl alcohol etc), then drop enough into a 5cm x 10cm piece of blotting paper to equally soak all of the paper, then let dry or use low power fan to aid drying. Repeat the above 3-4 times until all of the solution is used up; then finally dampen it a last time with just solvent on its own (ensures even distribution) and leave to dry naturally.


Once dry you know that each square cm contains 2mg of drug, so for, say a dose of 16mg, it's just 16/2 square cm (8 sq cm, which can be cut out as a piece 1cm x 8 cm or 2cm x 4 cm). This method allows measurement, without scales, to sub-milligram levels (and can't leak out of its container, as solutions can)

The blotter method sounds interesting, though wonder how much the paper can absorb. i also wonder if any of chemical can evaporate with the solvent. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urnchemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />


i wouldn’t advise just mixing the dose in a known amount ofliquid and than measuring the liquid. the amount you receive is far from being precise. I’ve seendiscrepancies of over 10 mg.


get a scale. you can find one for $100. if not don't play with this stuff please.

Anything above 2.5mg/sq cm tends to have chemical form on the surfaces of the paper, that could be removed by friction, so a 5cm x 10cm piece would hold 125mg before losses would occur through friction when dried
